Prior to moving to Blacksburg, Virginia, he was the Medical Director 150-bed freestanding psychiatric facility in San Antonio. COMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE Dr. Walker speaks nationally on sales and marketing strategies, industrial change, time management and success strategies. He has written twelve books and over 100 articles on neuropsychiatric topics. He has also has done a popular audiocassette album for Nightingale-Conant. His newsletter, LifeWorks, is distributed widely. He also writes a medical newsletter for physicians and health care workers—Psychopharmacology Update. RESEARCH EXPERIENCE Dr. Walker was a National Fellow in Research Training, NIMH and was Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development, Duke University Medical Center.
