YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I've been going to this theater for a little over 2 years and the place has been as clean as any full price theater. It's not so fancy, but I've never stuck to the floor and the kids aren't any more noisy than any other theater. There may be more kids because young parents can afford to take them here over and over, but that's more the number of kids than anything. I've seen loud kids at other theaters and NEVER seen the parents asked to take them out. I also assume that you'd stick to the floor of any theater if no one reports a soda spill because they don't mop between every movie. The popcorn is not better or worse than other theaters either. The movies are not new releases, but what do you expect for $1.50? The price went up to $1.50 per ticket at the beginning of the year. I'm just thankful they are still open. Most dollar theaters have closed, and this one was a pleasant surprise compared to others I've seen (not a single spitball stuck to the bathroom ceiling). You can buy a popcorn bucket and get it filled for the entire year for around $3 each refill (I think it's $3, it was $2.50 and went up at the beginning of the year, it may be $2.75). I don't know why people expect bargain concessions, the theater has to make it's money somewhere and while the movies are 2nd run, the concessions are fresh (and optional).

RMTC consistently provides great musicals at both the Cabaret and Virginia Samford Theatres. It’s definitely worth being a season ticket holder and I appreciate the “create your own package” opportunity.

I can not say enough about this theater! The service was awesome and so far beyond, you could just not imagine. They were completely staffed, and the staff was ready and willing to work. We were greeted outside by two employees and an actual police officer. The tickets and the concessions are sold in the same place, so that is a little different from the norm, but the lines were not long, and again, plenty of staff, so no worries there. I love, love, love the fact that you can get free refills on your drinks. The fountains are out in the open for you to do it yourself....along with the butter, you know, in case you need more on your popcorn when you are halfway through the bag. I had to step out to refill our drinks, but was surprised to see a male staff member. He took our cups and refilled them for me. I only missed about 10 seconds of the movie while I handed him the cups and gave him our drink preferences. Now that is what I call service! The entire place was very clean and neat and nicely decorated. The chairs are staudim seating, another plus. They rock back farther than any other theaters in the greater Birmingham Metropolitan area. In addition, they had a nice game area and quite a few selections there too while you wait. We were really impressed with The Edge 12, and will be returning. This shopping center is only about 75% full, so a place this nice, will surely help to bring good additional businesses to the area. The new owners and staff are a 100% improvement from what was previously in this specific movie theater. See ya at the movies!
