My wife backed into our garage door with her SUV, damaging it late on Monday afternoon. I called Golden and within 30 minutes, Ken was at my door to help. He was able to straighten the door and put back on track and it looks and operates as good as new. All for only the $75 service call. I had imagined the worst, expecting to replace the door, but he made it as good as new. He was extremely nice, thorough and professional. Went out of his way to help and answer any questions. A good Christian man. I highly recommend this company.

Chad - I want to thank you again for your help today. You could have very easily scheduled me for a service call. But instead, you gave me a few things over the phone to check, and sure enough, it was a loose wire. Problem solved. It is refreshing to know there are still some people in this world that are more interested in helping folks out, as opposed to sticking money in their own pocket, by telling them to tighten a screw. You can bet any garage door issue I have in the future will be directed to you, no matter what.

had a problem with both of my garage doors recently on a Saturday morning. After several unsuccessful attempts by me and my husband to "fix" the problem I called your number. Your technician Ken came out that afternoon and took care of the problem and also recognized another impending issue that he also took care of. Ken was very nice and professional and tall!! He is definitely an asset to your company. Thank you for your prompt and great service. Thank you especially to Ken for coming out on a Saturday afternoon!

I called Golden Garage Door Service to set up a service call on a Saturday. They offered to trouble shoot my problem over the phone before they came out. I was able to fix the problem myself. It was a short on the wall unit button. They didn't have to do that. They could have just made the service call. Instead I was able to fix the problem at no cost. When I do have a problem that requires a service call I will call Golden.

A Plus Garage Door
Should you ever need any type of garage door repair/service I highly recommend Kevin at A+ Garage Door. He was extremely knowledgeable, took pride in his work, adjusted a couple things he very well could have just skipped once the repairs were finished and was grateful for the business – on a holiday too boot! I was in a jam as my door completely failed and it would have had to be open all night.I highly, highly recommend.

A Plus Garage Door
A Plus Garage Door came out on a Saturday morning, knew exactly what was wrong with my door, had the parts on his truck, and changed them out, all within an hour. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He even went out of the way to tune up the door and didn't charge for it. Well worth the money.

On my experience with Chad and the lady that set my appointment up on the phone was wonderful. They set a time, he arrived early, and finished early also. Chad was so polite to me and helpful. Every question I asked, he answered. He is very nice Christian man and I would recommend this company to anyone.

I just wanted to thank you for sending Ken out so fast and being able to help me the same day. He is such a hard worker and just a wonderful man. You all are very lucky to have him working for you. He got my 30 year old door working good as new.
Tips & Advices
Monthly, carefully observe the door as you open and close it. If you hear or see anything unusual, take a closer look. The regular motion could loosen up some of the hardware, so take a few minutes to tighten everything up. Also, be sure that tracks, tires, and other moving parts are lubricated. If your door is painted, make sure it isn't chipped or peeling. Deteriorating paint on a wooden door could let moisture in, which leads to warped doors, while a steel door could rust.
On average, a new garage door installation will cost around $1,000. Most homeowners end up paying somewhere between $740 and $1,400, including the installation and the door itself.
It depends. For someone who tackles home improvement projects, installing a garage door might be a viable do-it-yourself project. An experienced wood or metal worker can install with the right materials, tools, and knowledge. Someone less experienced should contact a professional. Depending on the size, a door could weigh as much as 200 pounds, though some smaller or uninsulated ones could be less than 100 pounds.
If you begin to notice this around a change in seasons, check the lubricant on the tracks. Weather patterns will affect lubricant's effectiveness. Dirt or debris on the tracks could also be the cause; make sure they're clear and clean. If the tracks look fine, make sure the doors are hung evenly.
It could mean your tracks are either dented, falling, or otherwise misaligned. Misaligned or damaged tracks can cause the door to cease working or fall off its tracks. If your door is stuck, slanted, or looks unstable, call a professional who will have the right tools to fix the problem.
