The Zwiebel Law Firm, LLC
ELIZABETH ZWIEBEL really did a fantastic job on my case. I cannot say enough about the great job she did for me. My divorce was so difficult but she made everything turn out wonderful. If you need a real caring and determined person, you need her. I highly recommend her and her law firm. Everyone at her firm was always ready to answer questions and literally hold my hand all the way through this difficult time. She got us fantastic results, she really made the ex pay for everything. YOU HAVE TO HIRE THIS LAWYER. Without her, I KNOW I would not have gotten such a great result. My case lasted as long was she said it would. She pushed each time to get it resolved and never let the other side prolong the misery. I felt like I was the most important person in the world when I was around her in court or her office. Every time I had a question, she took me to her side and explained every detail. She understood what I was going through and was candid about what I should expect. She made no promise that was not delivered. DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE TAKE YOUR MONEY - she will get you results.

Kreps Law Firm
I was charged with speeding and immediately contacted Kreps Law Firm. After speaking to Mr. Kreps, I knew I was in good hands. The documents and case items they sent me were very, very easy to handle - I COULD SIGN THEM ON MY SMART PHONE!!! In the end, I did not have to appear in Court and my charged was DISMISSED - no driving school, no court costs, etc. Mr. Kreps worked it out so that I did not have to do anything but I have definitely reduced my speed - first ticket in a long time and will be my last but if I need help in the future, Kreps Law Firm will be the firm for me. I highly recommend Joseph Kreps and his law firm - they really care about your case, are very responsive when you need something and they get the best results!

Holmes, Cindee Dale
Cindee Dale Holmes helped me get my life back. I thought it was over - that all of my years of education and hard work were basically down the drain. I had been to two other bankruptcy attorneys already when I found Cindee. The others didn't see a solution and told me I would lose everything. She took my horrible situation and rescued me financially. Her 22 years of experience specializing in bankruptcy paid off for me. I have my life back now and a promising future - and it wouldn't have happened without Cindee's help.

The Rose Law Firm
BEST IN ALABAMA: I had a complex divorce and was afraid when starting that I wouldn't be able to find the right attorney who could handle the matter as I had used the so called best of the best in my previous divorce and got screwed. I was wrong. After searching, comparing, and interviewing several of the "best family law attorneys," including Mrs. Rose, I chose Mrs. Rose and The Rose Law Firm to represent me. This was the best decision I could have made as choosing a great attorney DOES MATTER.

Wininger, David D
These guys handled my divorce. I can't tell you how happy I am. There were some almost impossible issues and I was painted by ex's lawyer as the worst spouse in the world. None of it was true though and these guys stood up for me at every turn. I not only ended up with sole custody of my chid, my attorneys showed the judge how she had set me up. I've never seen a firm work so hard for me.

Forney Marjorie H
Ms. Marjorie Forney is the best attorney to have on your side. She won my husband custody of his son. Because of her, his son is out of a dangerous enviroment and in a good safe home. It was not an easy thing to do and it took about 2 yrs but it was worth it in the end. I know her on a personal basis as well and she is an amazing lady who lives to protect children from harmful enviroments.

Forney Marjorie H
Marjorie was Great! My brother died without a will, had two children and his ex( not his children's mother), was trying to take them to the cleaners, I was appointed the admin of the estate. Believe me Marjorie's knows the law, knows her stuff, went to court, Marjorie stopped their every move, the ex witch got nothing!! This all went on for over three year, but Marjorie was Fantastic !

Clark, James, Hanlin & Hunt
I was denied my disability claim when I applied on my own. After speaking with our family attorney and getting his firm recommendation of Charles Tyler Clark, I called and the rest is history. His group took over and they got my hearing before a judge and my 100% disability. I cannot thank them enough. Maybe I need to bake them a cake, Hmmmm, that's a good idea.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
