After an accident, this was one of Alfa insurances recommended shops. I live close and had dealt with them before, with ok mechanic work. Took my car in for front end damage repair. When they were finished the hood, head light and bumper didn't line up properly. When I brought this to there attention, The excuse was: the car had been wrecked before. I told them it didn't matter how many times it had been wrecked before, I wanted it back to what it looked like before I was backed in to. At this time He ( I guess Body work supervisor) Started yelling and got right up in my face. I told him he really didn't want to do that and his response was oh yea and what are you going to do about it. He took the car in to adjust the hood. My wife went in to tell them to call us when it was done. She was cursed at using the F word several times. They made the undamaged side look like the damaged side. No happy!! They will never see my vehicles again. Talking with ALFA now

Knight Paint and Body
It is a privately owned shop and I was able to deal directly with the owner. He and his staff were courteous and professional.

My only interaction with this shop was over the phone thankfully and the owner was actually very rude, told me to take my business somewhere else and hung up on me because I asked him if they sanded and repainted wheels. I guess he's too busy for smaller jobs but hanging up on a customer is uncalled for when all I did was ask a question. This was the owner. I would hate to actually have to do business with a shop with this kind of attitude.

Logan's Roadhouse
My family and I just walked out. We waited 30 minutes to be seated because the tables were not bussed. Then we waited 20 minutes. While 3 servers past by several times without any acknowledgement of our presence. Once we started getting up to go one came out and asked if anyone had waited on us. I love the restaurant but this franchise gives the entire business a bad reputation. I am very upset about this experience. I hope a change is made soon.

Logan's Roadhouse
No peanuts, no bread, took 10 mins to get a drink. Waiter was so dumb he couldnt get anything right. Had to ask for silverwear 3 times! There was only 5 tables occupied in entire building and still couldnt get service. Steaks full of grizzle, ribs were so tough they were taken home for dog treats. Called the manager he didnt even know the name of the server he was managing that night. Never offered a refill or desert, the check was literally rudely stuck under our nose. Not worth $100 and manager wouldnt discount for our terrible service. Horrible experience for my birthday. WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!

Logan's Roadhouse
While traveling, we have eaten at this Logan's several times. On Monday, September 3, 2012, my husband and I walked into this Logan's and there were 4 attendants(young ladies) in the doorway. Not one of them greeted us! I love Logan's and every Logan's I have ever been in said "Hi, welcome to Logan's" or at least "Hello" with a smile. These 4 ladies looked us in our faces and never smiled or said a word. One of them gathered the menus and silverware and just said follow me. So our waiter passed us several times after we are seated before he comes to take our drink orders. I understand that it was Labor day and they may have been a little busier than normal. Service was a little slow but that was ok. The food was good BUT as I got down to the last couple of bites of my mashed potatoes, there was a HAIR on my plate. I was so disappointed. I asked the waiter to please have the manager come out. The manager(Scott) then came to our table. I explained to him my disappointment from the time I walked through the door to the hair I found in my plate. All he said was "We'll take care of the bill." My husband had already paid and money was not the issue. He asked if we were from there and after I told him no, he shrugged us off even more. All he kept repeating was "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He didn't try to get to the bottom of anything. Once he finished talking to me, he just walked to the back. I am very hurt and will not eat at this location again!
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
