Dropped off a wheel and tire for repair after I found a screw in the tire.Picked it up the next day and the wheel had several scratches in it that were not there before. They denied doing it and lied to me even though one of their own employees said the wheel was not scratched when I brought it in.

Big O Tires
I will not utilize this establishment again. I scheduled an appointment for an alignment and a oil change last week. Even called to confirm my appointment the day of 2 hours prior. Upon arrival I decided against the oil change and expressed my decision to the associate with hopes of getting the much needed alignment. For some odd reason he stepped away from the desk and returned with another guy who said there weren't enough mechanics available to complete the alignment, and they can do the oil change but not the alignment. Due to the team having a meeting at 12pm... my appointment was scheduled for 9... Unprofessionalism at its finest. Why wasn't this conveyed during my confirmation call, how is it that all was well until I decided against the oil change. Unbelievable. Definitely not even worth the 1 star.

Awesome service and great prices. You should give them a try. I have bought my last 4 sets of tires from them and have saved hundreds if not thousands.

Dropped our car off for service. Two days later picked it up, discovered new damage to car, now they refuse to acknowledge or cover even part of the cost. Tried to resolve in good faith but they showed no concern. Buyer Beware.

D & L Tire & Auto
D&L is an excellenty auto servicing and repair facility. I have been having my automobiles serviced by Larry and his excellent staff of mechanics(ASE certified). Honest estimates. Repairs done right the first time. Repairs done according to what you wish to have repaired and no additional 'hidden' costs. I have been and will to continue to be a patron for over 15 years and have never been dissatisfied with either the parts installed or the quality of repairs. Have your auto serviced or repaired at D&L and know that it will be done with quality in mind.

I have been having my vehicles repaired and serviced at D&L for over 20 years. Larry has an excellent group of mechanics. Larry himself is one of the finest mechanics I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He gives an honest, and complete estimate of the cost of repairs and does ONLY the work you wish to have done unless otherwise specified by you. His daughter, Jennifer, is his receptionist and well qualified to provide information to the customer concerning any repairs which might be needed,ie,parts, labor, etc. Having been a loyal customer of D&L, again, I can recommend this tire, servicing and repair shop to anyone from the single mom to the experienced do-it-yourselfer. He stands behind both his labor and the parts he installs. You absolutely can't go wrong.

Big O Tires
Came in for a tire alignment. First of all they had very poor customer service. The person I talked to seemed like he hated his job and was ready to go home! Then they go to align my tires and tell me all but one of my ball joints are out. So I take it to a locally owned tire shop who I trust to check my ball joints( would have taken it to them in the first place but they can't align trucks) and they tell me nothing is wrong with them and that they were perfectly fine. Not to mention my buddy had the same problem at the Fayetteville store. I am very disappointed at Big O and will never bring my business here again not will my friends and family. Go to someone local business! These people will lie straight to your face!

Big O Tire Team -Gary and Anthony are heros! I had a major tire failure at 5:30pm. I pulled in and they told me they would take care of me, even though they were very busy! I needed to drive from Bentonville to Liitle Rock tonight then NashvilleTN in the morning! They drove to their other store to get my tires, even though they were supposed to already be home. Now, after their thoughtful and professional services, I am now safe at home. Thanks! Honest - affordable - professional!

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
