Cold Noses Grooming & Pet Services
Good overnight sitting service! I just picked my toy poodle up today. We went out of town for a family vacation for three days and boarded Sally here. I have boarded her at one other place a couple years back and went to pick her up with cuts and fleas on her. Thankfully that was not the same case with cold noses. She seemed very well taken care of and returned to us in better condition then we had dropped her off in. She received a free groom. She had a bath and smells so fruity now. Her nails and ears were done along with a flea and tick treatment she had down her back. This was a safe environment for her. The owner was very polite and called each day to inform us of how she was doing. I am glad we choose to leave our Sally in their care while out of town. We will be using cold noses for future pet care needs and will recommend them to friends and family. Special thanks to cold noses!

It's now my favorite grooming place in the area! Very kind and nice staff that provided excellent A + work on my small dog with great deals and low prices. They are defiantly a unique grooming shop that also does boarding as well as regular giveaway drawings to the public. They also support and take donations that go towards the local animal shelter's. I love a business with a cause! I am now a regular customer and couldn't be more pleased! I recommend this grooming and boarding business to anyone.

I have only been taking my dachshund to cold noses for a few weeks now and I am extremely greatful I found this place. My girl is getting physical therapy for her recent paralysis. This is defiantly a one of a kind pet service with people who truly have kind hearts for pets. I have been searching for some while now, a place that is reasonably affordable and really cares to help her with her injury. Well worth the wait.

Just want to thank you for your services looking after Red for those few nights. Your phone call's daily letting me know he was doing good after just recently having his surgery, made my trip for work a lot easier. You girls are the best! Thank you.
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
