Customer service is not appreciated in this place. Cindy or whatever her real name is was a good technician and basically I made a standing every 3 week appt. and she claimed she would mark it on her calendar and NOTIFY me if there were any issues. I gave her my phone no but she went to Vietnam for a visit for 2 weeks and never told me just assumed I would let anyone work on my nails and I won't. She would of known when I made the appt that she would be out of the country. Those plans are not made without planing. Her mom, the owner I was told, just laughed when I was upset. I have a lot of stress right now and school testing and typing and my nails are too long and now I have to find another place or cut them off. Seems small in the issues in life but I hate rude people that run businesses dealing with people and actually knowing a customer only likes the work of one person and just doesn't care if the tech just never calls or reschedules or tries to see if another person can be utilized for one time or not.

I went for a gel manicure on MLK day. Hadn't visited the saloon for some time. Seems like the ownership has changed. I had the most horrible experience. There was one male and two female technicians. It seemed the man was the only one who could do gel nails. He insisted that there was a very new technique called dip powder. He lied. It is just acrylic powder. Anyhow I made the mistake of agreeing to let him use it. He is not experienced. He bruised the cuticles on all my fingers and charged me $10 extra for the "new" technique. He is certainly not experienced and I do not know if the license on his table is his own, as it has a name "Ha" but no picture. My advice - do not go there and if you do, do not let this man do your nails, he is a disaster.

Jen's Nail Spa
I have been with the owner, Jen, for many years. I started with her at another salon, followed her when she made a move, and then was one of her first customers when she opened her own salon. her journey has been incredible, and you should get to know her. I go to her, my daughter goes to her, my husband goes to her, my 92 year old mother goes to her and we would not change. Her employees are bi-lingual, they are pleasant and communicative. The manner in which they all give pedicures is amazing. The leg and foot massage at the end is worth twice what they charge. My husband had knee surgery, could not bend to cut his toenails, and I talked him into going to Jen's. Now he's the one asking when I am going to make the next appointment. They are well versed in all types of manicures and stay current with all the new trends. In fact they can add decorations to your nails with hand drawn work that is amazing to watch them do.....Tiny brush, tiny drawing, beautiful results. I do strongly suggest you make appointments. What better way to assure you will have your time to be pampered and treated like royalty. When you "walk-in" and cannot be helped right at that moment, you are missing a great opportunity to find the very salon you have been looking for all along. You can walk in anywhere and take what you get, or you can go to Jen's Nail Spa and get all that you wanted and then some.

Jen's Nail Spa
I will never be going here again. I have gone here about 4 times and this last time was the final straw. I have a fungal infection on my toes. Not one nail but both feet! The second to last time when I went to get a pedicure, the lady noticed half of my nail was black/purpleish (I thought, it was a bruise). It looked like a bruise, and assumed I hit my nail on something but couldn't remember. I did not pay attention since I assumed it was just a bruised. Until, I noticed it was not going away, I went to the doctor. I now have to take medicine to clear this and stuck with ugly nails. Once I am able to get my nails done, I will be going back to my regular spot. So disappointed with this place. Only reason, I went here was that it was down the street from my house. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Be kind to yourself and don't go there to get nail fungus.
