B Todd Drury MD
Dr. Drury is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. Saw him for a second opinion following issues from a fractured wrist. He explained available procedures and performed surgery that returned my hand to a functioning status. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Facility is spacious and nice, staff is friendly. Highly recommend Dr. Drury and Texas Orthopedics Specialists.

The staff was great. Everyone was friendly and took their time with us. I felt very comfortable from day 1 over the phone with Chrissy who answered all my questions. My consult was with Dr. Kathy and she is very smart and spent a lot of time with us. My doctor was different for each procedure based on who was on call so we did not get to know just one really well, but we trusted them all. And most importantly, they delivered and met our expectations and made our dream come true!!

Dr Kathy Doody was informative and helpful throughout our process of using an embryo donor. We were able to go through all pre-screening and transfer in about 3 months which surpassed our expectations. We were given realistic expectations and once I became pregnant, the monitoring and feedback were very good.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. Appointments start on time and everyone takes the time to explain everything and visit about our specific needs.

Unprofessional ! I had a 10:15 appointment today. I showed up at 10:00 am and at 10:15 am I was told the doctor wasn't in. The staff also said they have tried to call and also left a voicemail. But somehow I was unreachable! That is a lie! My number is a cell phone and it is on 24/7. I received and made many calls yesterday as I was scheduling a last minute vacation for next week. There is NO WAY that I was unreachable! On top of that, I received a call the day before confirming my appointment today! To worsen the situation, the office has a sign that it will charge $50 for cancellation made less than 24 hours. I should have told them I have the same policy! Unbelievable !

Dr Kathy and nurse staff have been absolutely amazing. I would say that the overall experience has been great. Though I do feel as if I had to really follow up multiple times with the patient coordinator and that became tedious and frustrating at times. She also does not have what I would consider to be good bedside manner, she is just very formal and very matter of fact. Which is fine, but sometimes you need a little more compassion

Dr. Kathy and her staff have been exceptional throughout our whole treatment process. Every person we deal with, from the Dr. to the nurses to the front desk to the billing department has been patient, flexible, forthright, clear, and above all kind. In this kind of process it is critical to feel comfortable with your care providers and we could not be happier with the care we have received at CARE.

We loved Dr, Doody. Her and the staff were clear and precise on instructions for everything from appointments to procedures and self injections. I would refer Dr. Doody and Care Fertility to anyone needing fertility help.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
