"last name" " rude office manager" Most doctors at Bmt Pedi are ok, a few lack good bed side manner.... Dr Roesler and Hubbell are hands down the best there. The office staff is hit or miss, and seem to be lead by a rude overbearing office manager who has everyone running scared. Customer service follows the office managers attitude of what suits them and does not seem to be about making the patients or their parents feel most welcome or important. It is extremely hard to get called back in a timely manner and very difficult to get appointments for well cks. Be sure and be on top of things, the staff is quick to tell you it is not their job to remind you to make appointments for follow ups or well checks. They get paid to sit there, it seems, and it seems to be allowed to be rude to patients and when a mother walks in to ignore them and blurt out... last name please. I prefer to give my business to a place that deems it important to look at me in the eye and thank me for using them and to ask me what my last name is with a smile on their face!!!!

Beaumont Pediatric Center
We have taken my son here for 8 years and love the staff! My son has special needs and we have seen just about every physician there with nothing but help and understanding. They have a sick child waiting room as well as well child room and their walk in clinic in the morning is awesome. I highly recommend!

Doctors Express was exactly what I needed when I needed it most. Heather and the staff at Doctors Express make you feel better from the moment you walk it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very friendly staff. We loved our nurse Ashleigh Stanley! They are very good with kids. They get you in and out quick. I will always choose them over the ER.

Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
