Went to Steamer's on lady's Island for dinner with a couple of friends....the meal was exceptional!\r As we walked out we heard music in the Stemer's Pub so we thought we would go in and have a look. The karaoke DJ was a blonde girl who did everything to get us to stay and party. Well it worked as we had such a great time singing that we stayed until very very late...ha ha. I can highly recommend this restaurant and pub as we had a great time and will be heading back there soon!!

This waterfront restaurant is still the newest and hottest place to dine, socialize and be seen. The staff is an example of southern hospitality. After almost three years, people are still talking about Saltus.

My family has been to Barbara Jean's many times here in Beaufort. The restaurant is clean, the service is very fast, and the atmosphere is great..semi casual. They even have outdoor seating for romantic dinners! We have always been met with friendly faces and great service. The food is outstanding..real southern home cooking at it's finest. I LOVE their turkey dinner, but have also had many other items. I have never been disappointed. Their bread selection is unusual, but very tasty! The prices are reasonable, and I recommend it to anyone who lives here or is traveling through the area. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Don't eat at Plums! We traveled a good distance to eat at Plums for special lunch on waterfront. We asked for a window table, and with only 3 others in the restaurant and all window tables available, we were told that wasn't possible. Really, who is the customer?? When our shrimp salad came it was mostly mayo with local shrimp and no celery as advertised. The wrapped crackers were smashed into the strawberry so as to damage it and the salad. The crackers were stale. The waitress did not return to fill our glasses until the check came. My guest said they felt rushed like we were eating at McDonalds or some other fast food restaurant. The hostess clearing a nearby table made a point of telling us they were expecting 4 tour buses. I guess they would rather entertain Northern tours than local folks who could eat there daily . My husband does business in Beaufort and will not be taking his customers there. There are many other places to better enjoy a memorable lunch--I will not be seeing my friend for 3 years, and our special lunch was ruined by Plums' unsanitary, rude, and rushed customer relations and poor food quality. Go to Charleston where they know how to care for folks. Beaufort is not Charleston by a long shot.

This is the best place for awesome pizza, subs or whatever you try you will like. Good atmosphere, service and yeah maybe Henry made a mistake, last I checked he's human too. Don't miss a great place to eat because of 1 persons review. We go as often as we can and have never been disappointed. Thank you for the good comfort food I am used to at home up North.

As former employee, I have to warn everyone out there about this place. The workers don't clean the dishes thoroughly and rarely ever change their gloves while cleaning dishes and preparing food. Silverware is cleaned with leftover food left in the dish washing machine, and after that they are wiped off with a filthy rag, and also; some employees show up intoxicated and are not sent home, even though there are cameras in the back watching everyone. Last but not least, silverware and other cooking utensils that are dropped on the floor in the back are still used. By the way, avoid this restaurant at all cost unless you wanna catch harmful germs or disease from unwashed salad bowls, and personal hygiene isn't important if you work there.

Good food. Would go more often if 2 meals didn't cost over 40 bucks though. But anyways they have good food ..we don't go here that much due to the high prices cheaper to cook or go elsewhere . But a great place to go every once in awhile

The atmosphere of this restaurant is stylish and quaint. The service is fast and friendly. The food at Sushi Sakana is phenomenal. I wasn't a big fan of sushi until I started eating the delicacies offered by the sushi chef Mr. Choi. In my numerous visits, I have tried nearly every item on their menu and have not been disappointed. The kitchen hibachi items offer a wide variety to choose from that will appease any finicky palate. The dinner items come with a nice soup, salad and a Japanese yogurt drink for dessert at an affordable price. They also have a very affordable lunch menu. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in years. I was visiting out of town and stopped here randomly and I'm so glad I did!!. In my opinion it's better than any food Ive eaten in the last four days in Charleston, SC eating out for every meal. I had the Massaman Curry with chicken and a spicy salmon sushi roll and I had the Thai tea to drink. Everything was very fresh and loaded with rich flavor. The chicken was also very tender and the tea was also very flavorful. The waitress was awesome and patiently waited on us and seemed to enjoy her job which us rare now a days. I will almost drive 2 hours back to Beaufort just to try another dish! Fantastic food! I wish our Thai restaurants in my town were up to par.

We saw the vs bus outside with a surfboard leaning against it with Peace, Love and hot dogs on it and just had to stop! Just a small place with friendly people and great hot dogs. Great service and the chili is amazing. It has a little kick but not over whelming. All beef hot dogs made the way you want it. Great place for the whole family. Reasonable prices for great food. If you want to go somewhere where they treat you like family this is the place to go. We will be back the next time we are in town.

At Crosta Pizzeria, we are passionate in the craft of making perfect, wood-fired pizzas. Our Italian Brick oven, fashioned out of native Italian clay, assembled on site by masters of masonry, and fueled by aromatic Hickory and Oak is just as important a component in our pizza as the hand-crafted sauce, cheeses and the finest Italian and locally sourced ingredients. Let’s not forget the dough. Our recipe for the perfect dough for our ingredients is such a true example of Italian craftsmanship that we just HAD to name our place “CROSTA”. Our passion for authentic Italian cuisine doesn’t just start and stop at pizza. Our chef driven team focuses on the quaintness of rustic Italian dining with our daily production of house made sausages, roasted lamb, pork and poultry dishes, salads and antipasti that display the charms of the food and warm sense of community found only in Italy. Until now.
