WoodSpring Suites Houston Baytown
We checked in on 9/8/17, after the hurricane. FEMA was paying for our extended stay thru 9/25/17 when we were to resubmit. On 9/20 my husband was sent to Austin to work for a few days, when we returned on 9/23 they had resold the room to another guest. We did not check out. They did not call my cell phone to inquire. We entered the room to find that the bed was being slept in while we were gone. When I asked the front desk she said they checked the fridge for food. When they found none they decided that we had checked out. My question is, did they charge FEMA through 9/25? Why would they randomly enter a guests paid room? They don't clean the rooms, they don't change the sheets, they don't have a turn down service. What made it right to enter a room that was being paid for and decide that I no longer needed it?Went back on 9/25, after calling all day Sunday and reserved room 214 thru James. Was yo pick up the key on 9/26 because the room wasnt clean. When I arrived they told me that Dominga had resold the room earlier that day. How do you sale an already booked room?

Palace Inn Baytown @ Garth Rd
Me and my husband reserved a room with kitchen. When we arrived the room had NO kitchen and everywhere else was booked so we had to stay here. The stairs were disgusting and our room smelled like vomit. The carpet was gross and wet and the bed was wet. You could feel the springs in the bed and the pillows were lumpy. The cover was scratchy and old. They had a mini fridge but it also smelled like vomit. The room had NO microwave or hairdryer. The phone did not work. The tv was on p orn when we turned it on. The Internet was crappy. And the laundry area was in a dirty room. The shower had no pressure and they would not print out a receipt.

Quality Inn
Stayed here for 2 nights. They wouldn't let me stay weekly. We had a smoking room which smelled horrible like they never clean it. They had a small fridge with microwave and coffee maker in room. The bed was pretty comfortable and they have free wifi and cable. AC worked amazing and the shower pressure was great. The service was nice except they wouldn't allow weekly. As we were getting ready to check out we did see a roach though.

Super 8 Baytown
Stayed there for three weeks while on a job. Loved the big rooms with the love seat and desk. Clean, nice rooms and friendly people. Only complaint would be the offered breakfast was not much good for a diabetic, all carbs and sweets. But with three restaurants right there it was not a huge problem. we will be back!
