I returned from a trip to find that my kitchen disposal wasn't working and water wouldn't drain. Josh came and explained what the problem was, what my options were, and fixed the problem in one visit. He was professional and courteous and patiently answered all my questions. I would definitely call them again!

This business is unethical and does notcare about customers. They are using the flood as an opportunity to keep monies people have paid for items and are now having to repay for as they deal with their loss and their family's losses from the flood. No one from this business can even answer the phone or provide any information to customers who have paid. The business practices are despicable and deplorable. When their facilities are restored, I think it is important that potential customers know their business is not appreciated--not because they didn't deliver furniture timely, as that would have been understandable. A month later, They cannot even take the time to respond to paying customers who also have experienced this weather event. Other businesses are doing what they can at this point. I think this business and its owners are shameful and unappreciative.

I walked into the store and was greeted by Hank McGuire (my kind of salesman- knowledgeable without being pushy.) After he showed me all of the couches, I told him I would come back as I was unsure if I really wanted a new couch.When I returned he remembered my name, answered all my questions, was cordial and friendly.I bought a 3 piece leather couch, and asked for it to be delivered the day after Thanksgiving. That morning, I called and was told the couch would be delivered between 11 and 1. At 12:45 the truck arrived. The men who delivered and set up the couch could not have been nicer. Later that day, Mr. McGuire called to see if I was happy. At 72, I have purchased lots of furniture, and this was the most pleasant transaction (from start to finish) I have ever made. 5 Stars for sure

I thought I bought my bedroom set, until I saw random charges being taken out of my account for a lease I never signed. These guys were all smiles when I paid a huge down payment, turns out they're snake oil salesmen. There are millions of other furniture stores in BR, trust this one...drive to NOLA if you must. And it doesn't matter about someone else's experience, I'm telling you about mine. Don't do it. This company isn't even endorsed by BBB...hmmmm. I found this out after the "robbery". Just go somewhere else. These crooks are crooked. And the only reason I gave 1 star is because yp.com made me!

My experience was a little different from the previous reviewer. Justice W. greeted and assisted me when I walked into the store. She was very pleasant, and humored me through all of my indecision in finding the "perfect" mattress. I came back to the store a second time still unsure of what I wanted to do, but she was still ready and willing to assist. I went with the Roosevelt Englander. Tara L, who was very down to earth, helped me fill out all the necessary paperwork for financing. I can't comment on the financing itself as I have not received my first bill yet. The owner, David (?), was able to work with his delivery guys and fit my delivery in on the same day I bought the mattress. That came as a surprise and it was nice to not have to sleep on my 15(+) year old mattress another night. As for the comfort of the mattress....ehhh...it's alright. I'm a combination of goldilocks and the princess and the pea so I'm difficult to please. The first night I noticed the middle of the mattress felt like it caved in too much. I rotated the mattress on the second night and it's not as bad. THOUGH, it is disappointing that I had to rotate it that soon. Overall, it was a good experience. I hate mattress shopping about as much as I hate bra shopping. It's difficult to find one that is comfortable, affordable, AND supportive. ;-)

Went to Stoma's in July of last year expecting to get helpful advice on our furniture purchase. I had done online research on the products I wanted for our home office. The sales lady (that's the moniker she deserves) was all talk and no help. She was supposed to be one of the store's "designers". I had to practically give her the list of all the pieces we wanted to purchase. I was so excited that we were redecorating and I asked for her help by coming to my house to assist with selections. She never made any effort to make an appointment with me and never came on delivery days of furniture as she had promised. She was a wash out. She didn't ever call to see how we like our furniture. It really irritated me because of the lack of customer service she showed. The only person who truly helpful at Stoma's was the Customer Service/Finance Rep. She was a doll and helped me through even when a torn, floor model leather chair was delivered to me instead of a new one for which we had paid. The "sales lady" should have checked quality control and done her job. I have serious doubts about giving Stoma's my business again. Ridiculous.

Ordered bedroom set 4 weeks ago. Paid for the delivery and dI'd not receive my 2 night stands. Tells me they will arrive end of week. Here I am 4 weeks later without my nightstands! Won't even be considerate enough to return my delivery payment! Will NEVER buy from them again. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with

Terrible. I do not recommend using this place for furniture ever! When they dropped off my furniture, which I paid a pretty penny for my entire new living room set, they were rude and unprofessional. They sliced open the couch with their knife while opening it and then tried to cover up an 8 inch slit!! On top off all of this they didn't even set up my coffee table and end table and then I came to find out it wasn't even the ones we ordered. We waited a month for our furniture and had a terrible experience. I contacted the manager four times because he "was about to call me back" every time I called. They said the earliest they can get it back is a whole week later! Needless to say, I'm still waiting on my furniture with no tables and a ruined couch.
