John Leo. Your payment was due at DADS. You called and asked if you could pay it the next day. We said OK. The next day you didn't pay or call. And the next day, and the next day. You didn't return any of our phone messages. We tracked your vehicle and shut it down. We get a call from a dealership, asking for your pay-off. You NEVER called us to communicate that you were trying to trade in OUR vehicle. Because you didn't return our calls, I text you stating that the vehicle was about to be repossessed, and that on top of the note, the late fee and a $300.00 REPO fee, it may keep you from trading it in. That was not a threat as you suggested, it was a fact. That's when we had to get it back to DADS. Because of your lack of communication you consider us the bad guys?? You also wrote us a letter stating, " Dear DAD'S Employee's, Keep up the good work! No complaints here. (smiley face) Chevy's Rule, Sincerely, John....Sincerely, DADS Employee's

y far the best car buying experience we have ever had. We had been in the market for a truck for a while when we happened to drive past this wonderful dealership. I was so worn out from the numerous dealerships we had already had been to in the last couple of months, but my husband insisted. Stopping was the best thing we could have ever done. The guys there were beyond professional and very personable people. They were straight forward with us about what they were able to achieve, and honored every agreement they made pertaining to their warranty and our vehicle. You do not see this kind of business interaction anymore...so we are very grateful. So if your in need of a nice reliable vehicle, but want to take the stress and annoyance out of the car buying experience then your first stop should be here & Tell them Angie says Hi and thank you because I love my F150!

My wife and I are very pleased with the two Vehicles we have bought from this car lot. They sold us quality vehicles and gave great service. I appreciate their quick response in qualifying us and leaving the same day with the vehicles we picked. Give this place a chance to show what service is all about. I needed to add that this car lot was able to give me a decent trade in even after I went to three other Dealer ships that wouldn't even consider a fair trade due to cosmetic issues Patrick and Rodney treated my family with respect and help us with the two Vehicles I talked about earlier. They also introduce me to their mechanics if I every need repairs. They are truly a blessing to my family! I recommend this car lot to anyone that is looking for Quality Used Vehicle. I will be a repeat customer.

Consumer Auto Sales
This place is very unprofessional and they tried to get over. Yes, I was a first time buyer. First off, my tires needed the lug knots to be taken off and they sold me a car without the key to it. Everyone wanted to charge me to take them off. I went Consumer's AutoSales, and the ACTUAL HEAD MAN says he'll give me half of the money to me for paying to get the lug knots off. Everyone was given themselves the title as being the "boss". Then when I asked to get my money back, I was told I couldn't even though Louisiana have a 30-day grace period as Law. They didn't offer Gap Insurance and they were Ready for you to sign and initial numerous of papers. If you are a first time buyer and is clueless about a car, please Tag along a professional Mechanic as well as another person who knows about a car.

Tips & Advices
Salvage yards will have different policies regarding warranties, but, in most instances, the parts you find will be covered. Some salvage yards will offer warranties of anywhere from 90 days to six months, and may even offer the option for extended coverage.
After you've successfully found a part or multiple components, take everything up to the clerk. Inform them of what you have and pay. Avoid lying about what you have as a way to pay less. You will potentially be banned if you're found lying. You-pick salvage yards will display the prices for categories of parts. Prices may fluctuate depending on the demand. Harder-to-find items could carry a higher price tag than a brand-new one. If you are salvaging for auto parts, you might see items that are difficult to find and be able to sell them for a profit. Doing so can offset the cost of the price you're paying for the parts you personally need.
It is in your interest to call the salvage yard before arriving to see if they sell smaller components individually, because some yards do not. Some owners choose to not sell small components for financial reasons.  If salvage lots come across a door without the handle, they will have to pay extra to get the handle and attach it to the entire assembly. It is therefore cost-effective for salvage lots to sell entire assemblies.
When rummaging through a car or walking around the lot, stay aware of your surroundings. Remember, you aren't the only visitor looking to salvage parts. Other individuals are also looking for components, and not everyone works as safely as possible. If you find a car you'd like to inspect, make sure working conditions are suitable, and if anything looks suspicious or dangerous, find a safer vehicle to tear apart.
