Classic Bridal & Limousine Service
I strongly advise that you do not do business with this man. He is a liar, very rude, disrespectful to his customers and never in the store. He has no customer service skills at all. My daughter and son in law used him recently for their wedding. They rented the tuxedos and a limo. The entire experience was horrible. Some of the wedding party was from out of town and those in town would go to the store during normal business hours to get fitted and the store would be closed. The day before the wedding there was an issue regarding a couple of the groomsmen who were measured late and having to pay a late fee before they could get their tux (as i stated before he was never in the store during business hours). He was charging one of the groomsmen a late fee when the groomsmen was going by the paperwork and was not advised or made aware that he was late when he was fitted. The groom happened to be in the store at the time and was trying to explain to the lady that he now has working with him that there was 2 groomsmen that were fitted late but the one in the store at the time was not one. The groom called Ronnie and was trying to explain. Ronnie cursed the groom out and told him he would shut everything down dealing with the wedding and told him to get out of his store. On the day of the wedding the best man's sole came of the his shoe that was rented from Ronnie's establishment. The wedding was held up to wait for shoes for the best man. At the reception the father of the bride and the mini groom's sole came apart from their shoes. He had the audacity to state that the shoes were new. This guy is a joke. I don't usually give reviews but i felt the need because i don't want to see any other bride and groom have one of the most important times in their lives to be ruined with the experience that my daughter and son in law had to endure with trying to support a black owned business. I am not stating all are bad but i strongly advise that you not use this one.

Keith's Automotive Repair
Unpleasant experience all around. Minimum charge is close to $100 just to tell you what you already know - "My ____ needs to be replaced.' Always tries to sell OEM parts, even for cars older than 15 years - which makes no sense - putting a $500 part on a car that's worth $400. Will not warranty aftermarket parts after 90 days. Average mark up on parts is 200%. Labor rates are excessive. Owner will call you a liar to your face if you try to tell him his mechanics are trying to pad the bill, even if you know enough about car mechanics and shops to speak with some level of expertness.DO NOT GO THERE. You will be sorry you did and outt of pocket big $'s for repairs that should, at the end of the day, cost 1/3 as muuch as they do here.

Hampton Collision
We had some body work done. The quality of the work was good. There were some communication issues with the management that were annoying, but in the end, it was all ok.

Siegen Car Care
Having just relocated to the area, and being unfamiliar with local shops, I was so fortunate to come upon Daniel and the crew at Siegan Car Care. Sincere, honest diagnosis of my problem...and rapid repair. "No hassles" is the best way to describe SCC. They are "my shop" for every car repair need. 5 Star operation.Pete HittleDutchtown, LA.

Siegen Car Care
Every time I take my car(s) to Siegen Car Care, they always give me honest advice and honest prices to fix my vehicles! I'll always trust my cars to Daniel at Siegen Car Care! They may not be the "cheapest" but they give me "peace of mind," which is worth a whole lot more to me than getting the cheapest price in town!

Classic Bridal & Limousine Service
RUN LIKE HELL! This guy is a LIAR and has no respect for his customers! His Tuxedos are very cheap looking, building smells like liquid drano, and he curses out his customers all the time! Please read all 22 of these reviews as this has been a pattern of his for years now! He even takes pride in being rude as he calls himself Ronnie "RUDE" Perkins! I lost all respect for the little fella who wears a tie with a short sleeve shirt!

Randy's Automotive
Mr. Randy blessed me today via his towing service! He was friendly, courteous and very helpful. He informed me of damage, due to a vehicle accident, that I was unaware of. I would recommend Mr. Randy for your towing and repair needs!

Moberly's Foreign Car Repair Inc
I recently took my 2003 Jetta Volkswagen to Moberly's and it was NOT a great experience. DO NOT bring your vehicle here. My vehicle was shifting causing the vehicle to rub against the tires which led the tires to pop. I asked Moberly's to check into the problem. They called me back stating the Control Arms needed to be replaced. They told me once that is replaced that I would need to take it to a different shop to receive an alignment and that should fix the problem. I made the payment of $560 for the control arms. I went to get an alignment (from a shop Moberly's referred) only to find out that the rear passenger tire needs a new axle. $900 for a new part alone. And the spindle was bent. Another big repair, $180. So close to $1500 With labor and the alignments to come, the car ended up being totaled and sold for parts. I got a whopping $450 for the vehicle right after I paid the $560 bill. Apparently Moberly's only checked the front 2 tires, because looking and not finding a crushed and bent axle is quite embarrassing for any mechanic. We even explained that the second tire in a short time had gone flat and finally made us realize there was a bigger problem going on with the tire alignment. They even saw it when it was towed there. But still, they only checked the front. Going to Moberly's is like going to the doctors, explaining you can't see and he only checks one eye. Do yourself and your car a favor and keep looking for a mechanic that wont rip you off.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
