Our bathtub was backing up we flushed our toilet (so gross) and we needed a plumber. I was lucky to find these guys. They do great work, they are honest, and they are very price competitive. They did a great job for us. I highly recommend Complete Plumbing Solutions for the following reasons:They were responsive and came at an exact hour. They quickly diagnosed the problem and showed us their fee for doing the work. He broke down the cost for every imaginable plumbing item that he could encounter. I hate when I feel a plumber is pulling a number out of the air based on how much we can afford. The price for our work was a good price.Even though the job took much longer than he anticipated because of the mistakes of a past plumber he was still professional and fixed all of the previous errors. He thoroughly explained the problem to my wife and said that he would follow in a few days to see how the issue was resolved. Great experience.

We have a 33 year old 2 story home and discovered a hot water slab leak. I had visions of torn up wood and brick floors. Terry smith investigated the problem, developed a repair plan and completed the project successfully with minimal ceiling intrusion and no floor work at all. His workers were diligent, respectful and mindful of my desire to spare my sewing room ceiling! A job very well done! we also had Terry replace our 2 water heaters while he was here. all plumbing problems solved ---- I highly recommend American Plumbing and will call them with any future plumbing issues. Thank you,

We were so impressed with American Plumbing. We had a leak in the yard of our brand need home that we just purchased. Nobody could explain the origin of the water leak. We had the builder check it out, the builders plumber check it our, etc.. Nobody could figure it out. American Plumbing found there was a weep hole in the side of the treatment plant and it was draining into an abandoned telephone conduit. Who would have thought? Not only did American Plumbing solve the water leak mystery but, the sewer odor is gone too. Thanks American Plumbing for everything!

Called American Plumbing because, I had another so called plumber install a reverse osmosis water filter under my kitchen sink. After paying $1,000 without success of getting any water pressure through the filter I decided it was time to call somebody else. I called American Plumbing and Terry assured me tat as long as i had the manual along with the technical support number they could figure it out. Well, Terry sent a crew out immediately. They checked out the situation and the plumber called technical support and found the reason for my problem.

American Plumbing really has their act together. I own a number of properties and contract all the plumbing work out to APC, and they always provide great service. When I call to follow up with my tenants, they always remark about how quick, easy and friendly American Plumbing technicians are. I really appreciate all they do for me and how effortless our partnership is.

Terry came out and performed a video inspection and pointed out a bad spot in my line but told me I could probably wait on making a repair in my slab. He recommended I replace the trap behind my washing machine but was not trying to hard sell me. He took time with me and made me feel very comfortable. I now recommend American Plumbing to everybody. Thanks!!!

I run a small business and its essential my plumbing needs are done in a very timely and cost efficient manner. APC has always shown up on time, done the job right the first time (barring any unexpected circumstances) and are always professional. I initially chose them because they met my insurance requirements, but I keep them for their superior service.

We are long time customers, and some of our friends are too. They have done a wide range of jobs for us over the years and the work is always solid. Every plumber I've met has been nothing but professional, and they take care to be clean and neat as well. Call these guys first, you will be in good hands.

When I called them the other day I had a great first impression. The person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful, that extended to the plumber as well. They arrived quickly and took care of my pipe leak in no time. I was happy with the work and the people, so I would definitely use them again!
Tips & Advices
Keep the following tips in mind:
  • Do not operate any electrical equipment while sitting or standing in water.
  • Don't overload extension cords or surge protectors.
  • Put caps on your electrical outlets if you have small children.
  • Call an electrician if you notice your sockets or switches are warm to the touch, discolored or if they make noise.
  • Keep electrical cords away from stoves, ovens and other sources of heat.
  • Do not use an appliance that has a frayed cord.
  • Do not staple extension cords into place or cover them with carpets or furniture.
  • When using extension cords, make sure to unwrap them before plugging them in.
  • Don't overuse extension cords. Have an electrician install extra outlets if you need a power source closer to you.
  • Only use light bulbs with the correct wattage for your lamps and light fixtures.
  • Contact a licensed electrician if you frequently blow fuses, since this can be a sign of an electrical wiring problem.
  • Have an electrician look at your fuse box to ensure you have the right size fuses and circuit breakers. The wrong size fuse or breaker can be a fire hazard.
  • If you have fault circuit interrupters installed in your electrical panel, make sure you test them at least once a month by turning them on and off.
It can cost from $40-$100 an hour depending on the job. This does not include additional costs for parts or trip fees. Make sure to ask in advance what they charge for or if they will provide a free quote.
In order to become a full-fledged professional, a person must undergo an apprenticeship with master and journeyman electricians. An apprentice needs 8,000 hours of practical work before graduating to the journeyman level. If an apprentice reaches journeyman status, he or she can complete most electrical work, but cannot design it until completing more testing along with 2,000 more on-the-job hours.
Yes. While all electricians need a license, not all of them do the same types of jobs.
  • Outside: These types of electricians work outdoors on electrical lines that connect to power plants.
  • Inside: Inside experts typically focus on commercial and industrial buildings that require a lot of power.
  • Residential: Residential electricians work with low-voltage systems and wiring to install fuse boxes and light fixtures.
Watch out for contractors that greatly underbid other electricians. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Also, always remember to get the estimate in writing before settling on a company.
