Jimbo's Seafood
I have tried MANY others, and while the others are good, if you are a cajun and know anything about seafood, you could tell that Jimbo's is indeed the best. Yes, they are more expensive, but they sell "little lobsters", no babies. And, the best flavor ANYWHERE! They are always consistent, nice and busy, for a good reason. I have gone to them for years. Everytime I want crawfish, if I do decide to save $10.00, it is NOT worth saving, I always end up kicking myself until I get my Jimbo's fix!

Dempsey's Poboys
My first time eating at Dempsey's was 2 years ago and so far Everything I've had from the menu has been Great. The Seafood Gumbo is good, however you must try the Seafood Stuffed Potato. It's my favorite!!! It's a huge seafood baked potato with melted cheese, and their special Mornay Sauce. I've never had anything close to this at another Seafood Restaurant. Also, the staff are VERY nice and courteous (especially Wesley)!!

Reeves Market
I called Reeves and asked for the Meat Dept and I asked the price of a particular item and the guy told me and did not give me a chance to say thank you or see if I had any more questions he hung up the phone in my face. I was very pleasant with him. This is just bad customer service. Makes me not want to do business at this establishment.

Newk's Eatery
GOOD FOR SALADS, SANDWICHES & PIZZAS.Newk's Club & The Royal sandwiches are very good. Bread looks like po-boy but is soft and fluffy. Coleslaw and fruit sides were good. Good family place. Prices medium ($7 -$12) but also get one side with sandwich. Did not try salads or pizzas.

La Boilers
I bought a dozen crabs from the Perkins store. Of the 12 crabs, 4 were just about totally empty of meat. When you picked them up you could tell that they would be bad. Those kind of crabs should be thrown out and not given as part of the order.

Maxwell's Market
The food they have is great. It doesn't take long and the atmosphere is really laid back. Definitely a place I will continue to go to in the future and definitely recommended for anyone tired of the same old same old.

Reeves Market
This grocery has good prices, good deli with hot lunch plates to go, a great bakery, and good service. It is not large, and easy to get checked out without delay. It has a good selection of products.

Best boudin in town!! My mom lives in Texas and we swap. She belongs me fajita meat and I bring her 5 links. Which I still get to eat some off the Boudin so it's a double win for me!!

Just a moment...
