The car was great, the experience checking in and out was fast and fine, except that they changed me for 30 days (my original contract), which I didn't notice at check-in, instead of 20 days that I actually had the car. I've called customer service twice, one rep was nice, said they have to send an email to the area manager who will contact me to adjust my charges. She said I would here from the manager before the close of business at 6 PM. After no contact after a few days, I called again to customer service. I was polite and respectful, but this rep was rude and dismissive. She said I would just have to wait until the area manager got around to me. After I insisted she said she would send another message. When I asked, she said there was nothing else I could do. They owe me $400+, I haven't heard from anyone and it's been a couple weeks.
Picking up the car was good, the clerk helping me was friendly and explained everything well. The car drove fine and had no problems. However; after dropping off the car, my fiancée realized that she could not find her wallet. She called the store and asked the person on the phone if she could check the car for the missing wallet. The person claims to have looked and not found it. They then rented the car to someone else. The next day, the woman who rented the car after us called and let us know that she had found the wallet in the car and wanted to return it. Somewhere in the process, $100 was stolen from the wallet. While I realize it is not Enterprises responsibility to check each car for forgotten items, they lied to my fiancée by claiming to have checked the car for her wallet and not finding it.
It was a great experience using Enterprise, I had a lot of difficulties with other car rental, especially their self services, often return a car and you are being charged for gas when you returned the car with full tank and are not supposed to be charged. I appreciate having someone on the ground to check the car and makes sure everything is good before I left the parking lot. There services has been very good, very polite and friendly, always ready to help. I hope you will maintain it, and I will always recommend your services to my colleagues.
