I would not recommend this company to anyone. Our closing has been delayed over 6 weeks because of multiple members of the company dropping the ball. Katherine and A'netra both will not return calls and promise things have been done or sent when they have not. If you want a quick and worry free closing do not go here due to the most unprofessional group I have dealt with for a closing.

We worked with Julie Nichols and her team on two home purchases this year and I have to say that she is just awesome to work with! Both properties were multi-structure and difficult to appraise & get comps for; the first purchase fell through after 3 months of work because the appraisal & comps didn't match the seller's value of the property. The second took 2 months of work but went through and we now own a little ranch in the country! Julie worked tirelessly and directly with our realtor, their realtor, the county tax appraisal district office, and anyone else we thought could help along the way. You know the old motto "give 110%"? Those 110%-ers look lazy next to Julie and her GMFS Mortgage team!

I had the BEST mortgage banker ever...... Stephanie Chenevert. Stephanie answered any questions I had. Very knowledgeable about the process and the things i needed to do to to help with my credit. Stephanie was always positive with an encouraging attitude. Stephanie was the BEST hands down. I wouldn't want to go through this process again w/o her. Dreadful, Awful, Horrendous, Atrocious!!! Service! DO NOT BANK WITH NFCU. I came into the branch to be added to my husbands account and the person assisting us, Aimee Meyers, was a complete failure. Upon activating my cards, she stated that she had typed the wrong expiration date and has to start the process over. Who does that? DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT COULD HAVE CAUSED???? Last month, our credit card was denied because of this same error! Next after supposedly getting the cards printed, she informs me that an offset occurred - what is that??? When I asked her to please verify that the card pins were correct, she tells me that she cannot until 2pm that afternoon! Like I have to wait until 2pm to have your error corrected???? This was the worst experience EVER! I avoided the Goodwood Branch because of their awful service to end up with MORE AWFUL SERVICE! I have gone to Iberia Bank and received MUCH better service that any NFCU BRANCH! There is no excuse for this awful training and I feel that all the branches NEED A NEW TRAINING CLASS conducted ASAP.
