Miller Family Automotive
I have recently moved from Austin to Bastrop and immediately went on a quest finding a reliable and honest mechanic. After a few false starts I have found Mason and Miller Family Automotive. I have a small business, so having my trucks running 24/7 is crucial for me, my employees and our clients. Miller Family Automotive are always very prompt, courteous, and communicative. They will take the time to explain in detail about what the issue is, using plain English language to the mechanically challenged amongst us. They rush ship most of their parts so your vehicle is getting serviced pronto. This mechanic is worth his weight in Gold! I got stuck in Austin, and preferred paying $300 for towing to my trusty mechanic instead of numerous shops around Austin, as I knew that the honesty and AAA service is well worth the drive and additional tow price. They identified the issue, and the price came out way more affordable than I initially thought.I would rank them 6/5 if that was an option. Such great craftsmanship, service and most importantly honesty is getting increasingly rare in this day and age. They have earned my business for life and I am very fortunate to have found them. They run a beautiful, no frills, family style (the owner has two of his sons work for him), old school shop and that is pleasure to deal with.Highly recommended, would drive 45+ miles to get service here! Y'all rock.

I LOVE this place. I'm a loyal customer for more than 10 years. I have had some horrible experiences OTHER places, Mr. voight and his team have always fixed my vehicle right the first time. I stand by this business 100%, along with many in my family. I"ve never seen owners be as involved as Mr.& Mrs. Voight. He monitored his techs regularly to ensure repairs were accurate. I don't have enough space to cover all examples of they're excellent customer service. I have shown up at his facility for something as little as unjamming the hatch on my 2002 Tahoe, a few seconds later the owner himself walked out an fixed it no problem. WOW!!! Next, I purchased a vehicle threw this facility, and there was a misunderstanding about re-registering the vehicle in my name. I came to Mr.Voight expalined my issue, without me saying another word, he spoke up an said this is completely our fault, I will personally go to the court house and fix it right now, I was so relieved , he apologized MANY MANY times an covered all my extra expenses. I didn't know TRUE great customer services existed anymore in this town. They are a prime example of true professionalism. I'll never take any of my vehicles anywhere else.

Miller Family Automotive
Great customer service. Super friendly and very flexible. We were able to drop the car before work and pick it up after with no issues. They thoroughly explained what was wrong, what they did, and that this work was guaranteed. Also reviewed the car for any other possible issues and made note of an item we may want to keep an eye on. I also received a call several days after to check in and thank me for my business. This isn't something that you come across very often anymore. It truly is a family business who truly seem to care about their customers. Overall, I felt this company went above and beyond and we will definitely use them in the future for any additional needs.

Andre's Automotive
Andre's is a busy shop because they do good work! They are honest, and they fix things right rather than patching and rigging repairs. They may not always tell you what you want to hear, but they'll tell you what you need to hear and need to do to keep your vehicles safe and performing optimally. It took me 20 years to find a repair facility in the Austin area that would not talk down to me or take advantage of me because I am a woman walking into an automotive repair facility. They are serious about their work which requires customers to be the same. I can't think of any other place I would take my vehicles, trailers or tractors!

I bought my wife a 2015 Tahoe and had a great experience with your dealership. When I decided to get a new truck I checked with you first and then bought a 2017 truck from you. I have two other Chevy trucks as well. I am also having my wife's car serviced at your dealership as she won't go to a dealership in San Marcos for service. Living in Wimberley it is a bit of a drive but we appreciate how you do business.

I had car trouble after hours and they were able to come out and try to jump start my car. It was unable to start so they took my vehicle to there shop until the morning when the mechanics could take a look at it. It was a simple fix and had me back in my car the same day! I highly recommend and they are now the only place I take my vehicles to.

Rick Zamora helped me find a vehicle that fit my needs at this time of my life. Wife and I are preparing to become foster parents of a sibling group. We needed something larger then the Fiat 500 and F-150 Truck for our future expanded Family. Rick found us a Pre-Owned Ford Excursion. The price point was excellent AND the SUV was in near mint condition.

The service for my car was a few hours longer than expected, but that's normal with how busy champion is. They worked well to finish within my schedule for the day and the customer service from Jennifer was fantastic. She kept me informed on what was going on and why it was taking longer. The friendly staff goes a long way with eager customers. Thanks!

David Escobar the sales rep I worked with was great. He was very friendly and was mindful of my time. He truly made this an easy and pleasant experience. This is the third truck I have bought from Courtesy and I will remain a loyal customer.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
