My family and I were driving through the Baltimore area on our way to florida when our van suddenly stopped running and we had called another towing service they told us 20 minutes but the never showed up for about 2 hour. We than called city wide towing and the guy told us 30-35 minutes on the wait but I was kinda worried since the last company never showed but they called me back every 15 mins just to assure me that they were coming there truck showed up about 33 minutes later and I was relieved, they helped my family out of the van to the tow truck and than even helped us to figure out a good repair shop in the area......I would recommend this company to anyone out there and I would use them again if I' ever need a tow while in Baltimore.........forgot the drivers name but great service city wide

John Smith and Son Emergency Locksmith
John Smith and Son Emergency Locksmith did a great job installing a new peepholeI am so pleased with the peephole that John Smith and Son Emergency Locksmith installed. I used to have a camera hidden so that I could see who was at the door, but to be honest, I could never see the faces very clearly. This new peephole, works much better. Yes its low tech compared to hi tech CCTV, but its better. The peephole I chose isn't so lo-tech either. You can't see from the outside if someone is looking out at you from inside. They are not like they used to be. I feel much safer especially because I deal in expensive items.

I've had to use this company 2x in the past 3 mths and each time I've gotten great service. They were there both times w/in the time frame they gave me. The driver was very respectable. And I was shocked that the inside of the tow truck was pretty clean. Hopefully I won't need a tow for a while but if I do I've already put this company in the contacts on my phone. :-)

Baltimore Lock Solutions
Baltimore Lock Solutions was so helpful- they really came through. They came right away and immediately helped us out in a crisis! They were super affordable. There's never a good time to be locked out of home, but if it happens again, at least I know who to call.

Locksmith Service Baltimore
They took an ideal opportunity to guarantee me that I had nothing to stress over and finished their guarantee. Everything looks extraordinary and I am grateful to have ran with them in the wake of being vacillating when attempting to choose a couple organizations

Tips & Advices
Locksmiths-in-training can receive foundational knowledge and skills through programs offered at technical colleges or vocational schools. These would include basic courses on lock mechanics and manipulation, along with general skills like business management. From there, most trainees seek an apprenticeship, where they work alongside a professional locksmith. This allows them to gain experience in the field. It can also put them on a course toward certification.
Upon arrival to your home, a locksmith should ask you to prove that it is in fact your residence. They should also be able to unlock most common locks without requiring them to be drilled or completely replaced. Be sure to obtain an invoice that lists all charges before agreeing to pay.
  • If possible, research local locksmiths online and take note of any that have poor reviews or complaints.
  • When calling a locksmith, confirm their address matches what you found online or in a directory. Then ask for a cost estimate for the service you need, and ask to have them bring a written copy of this estimate.
  • Some states require locksmiths to be licensed. If your state is one of them, require the locksmith to bring proof of registration when they arrive.
The term locksmith traditionally referred to people who designed and built locks, but today is generally used for those who repair and replace locks. Locksmiths can be available on-call to help people if they're locked out of their home or apartment.
  • First, determine the type of lock you have, as well as the manufacturer or model if possible. You should also obtain measurements of your door and frame.
  • Remove exterior and interior knobs by unscrewing any visible screws you find. Many knobs will include a decorative cover on the interior side that can be removed.
  • Once you've removed the entire lock, find the screws on the inside of the door frame to remove the latch or deadbolt.
  • With everything removed, repeat these steps in reverse order to install the new lock.
