Hydro 5 Car Wash
I used my debit card in the Bay. I only washed my floor mats. IT took about 60 seconds. When I turned off the machine. It said I had 1.00 left of unused time on the wash. The cost was 2 dollars total. I checked my bank and the car wash took 9 dollars. Totally unacceptable. but yet cannot get hold of the owner/ operator to get an adjustment. None of the phones work. How bad is that.

Speedy Gas Station
This place is gross. I work in a store in the same plaza so I go there and get food sometimes. I went in just the other day to get chips and dip and noticed their dip had expired in February of this year. It's August now. Why are they still selling it??? One of my coworkers got a chicken sandwich from their and got sick from it. This place needs a visit from the health inspector or something.

I brought my car in to have the inside detailed. I was told they were TOO BUSY to help me and asked me to bring the car in another day. I drove down the street to WATER WAY and they were able to help me.

Auto Spa Etc
Auto Spa Etc is a car wash and Mobil 1 oil change facility. The car wash experience is pretty good. I use them a lot when I can't wash my vehicle myself. You just have to be observant of when the vehicle is dried. That is when they get the dirt "film" off the vehicle. Sometimes the "driers" don't get it all. Overall - very good. Oil Change facility - I just had a bad experience. I have had bad experiences at other quick change facilities - so now I have a habit of double checking the work. I had some fluids (gear lube) changed and noticed, after I got home, that a drain plug that I was told they used (which was why the fluid exchange went so fast) was dry. I went back the next day to question that. I was accused, by the manager, of trying to rip them off and accusing him of not doing the job properly. He screamed at me that he used an oil extraction pump and that I watched him do it. I didn't see that and was TOLD that he did it via the drain plug. Customers are not allowed in the service bay, the glass garage doors are blocked at the bottom, and another vehicle was between the waiting room and my vehicle. I couldn't see was was being done and how it was done so fast. The manager went to pull a sample of the fluid - and I heard him yelling and banging things (kicking and screaming comes to mind). Then after he showed me the sample and went to put the plug back in - he threw the clipboard in the service bay. All the manager had to do was explain to me that they used a pump and not the drain plug. He didn't have to yell and accuse me. I paid for an service, I just wanted to verify that I got it. This manager displayed very poor customer service and a need for anger management. The rest of the staff was very courteous. Overall they have good prices and perform their work very quickly. I cannot recommend their facilty due to the manager's actions toward me.
Tips & Advices
A green car wash is one that places great emphasis on sustainability. The water used for each wash is scrupulously recycled, and the only products used are those that are bio-based, biodegradable, and gentle on the environment. Some green car washes also rely on renewable energy sources for power.
Many car washes make an active effort to recycle, reclaim, and reuse their water. Recycled water often comprises the majority of the water used for each wash, and, in many cases, the process is precisely managed by a computer-controlled system.
If a car has been newly painted, it's best to wait at least 30 days before applying automotive soap or any other automotive cleaning product. After this 30-day period, it will be safe to take the vehicle to a car wash.
A full-service car wash is one is which all aspects of washing the vehicle are handled by a professional. Many full-service car washes offer different packages that provide different tiers of service.
At a self-service car wash, the equipment and cleaning products are provided, but it is up to customers to provide the labor. Self-service car washes give you a space to wash your car, along with tools, such as sprayers, foam brushes and foam sponges.
