Big O Tires
At this location, they really do treat you like family. They go the extra mile and I'm so impressed that I just have to leave some positive reviews. They are not crooks I know this because I went in for a minor service & tire leak repair, it took a little longer than I expected but then they blew my mind and didn't even charge me!!! I'm starting to wonder if it was a mistake (if so sorry Big O you have my info, but now you've earned my loyalty and a positive review here and on yelp, I will never go anywhere else) A family member recommended that I go to the Big O on coffee because they had also have had great experiences there. Thank you so much :) I hope I don't get anyone in trouble from the big bosses in corporate. Just know that the family treatment I've received at this location, has made me a hardcore repeat customer that will recommend this place to everyone I know!

Pacific Tire Service
The guy who runs this is amazing, I only had 15 dollers and the tire ws 25, he says "don't worry, you pay me when you have the money." I got to him often, but he dosen't even know my name or any personal info about me.but says to me that " he knows me".I went to use my bank card, which i've done here before, and he says the company he uses for the card machine charges him $4.00 for any thing under $20.00, so again he tells me " not to worry, pay him when I can. I was stund and so thankful. Their always very helpful here and I really appriciate them. They are deffently my "tire guys" :)

Carroll's Tire Warehouse
My Van is a 2001 with 1430,000 plus miles on it and needed shocks and struts real bad, we checked with the dealer and it was going to be over $1000. My husband Steve called Carrolls for a quote and they said it would be $542 and they could do the work today. So we dropped it off around 2 pm and it was ready by 5 pm. The Van rode so smooth it was like it was driving itself. THANK-YOU! CARROLL's for the nice affordable and excellent job you did today.Susan and Steve Nelson

Pacific Tire & Wheel
My wife and I have been going here for everything having to do with our cars and trucks FOR YEARS! We would not patronize any place for this long that didn't treat us fairly. Hector and Caesar have always handled any problem quickly and professionally. They will also readily admit when they couldn't do anything for us --- like adding a grill guard and winch to our ranch truck. I feel very confident in sending our friends and neighbors to Pacific Tire and Automotive.

Big O Tires
My vehicle was involved in a bad accident. After the repairs were made at the body shop there was a bad " clunking" sound I heard whenever I went over a bump in the road. I took my truck to four different shops and they could not figure out the problem. I took it to Brice at Big O and they fixed it perfectly for me at one-half the price I thought it was going to be. I won't waste my time shopping around ever again. I'm a customer for life.

Pacific Tire & Wheels At Chester
Moved to Southern California recently and was looking for a reliable auto mechanic. Read good reviews about this place and decided to try the place out. Had engine light on and went there to get it checked out. A mechanic checked it out and told me it was the oxygen sensor. Some other places I know charge you for diagnosing engine light on but not this place. I had the oxygen sensor fixed and car is running like new. Excellent Service

Pacific Tire Service
I have nothing to say but great things about the company and man who owns it. He's honest and has the customers interest at heart. The owner goes out of his way to work with everyone, money is never the issue. Service is outstanding ! Customers are in and out in a very short time. I have told every person I know about Pacific Tire and the great service it offers. The company does great work and I would'nt go anywhere else.

Gutierrez Tire & Wheel
These guys are great. They work with you, and really care. Every single time I go in there, they are always willing to help out and are never grouchy or frustrated. This is my favorite tire place. Plust they found an air bubble in my tire that was ready to blow, possibly just saved us from a crash.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
