Today we had dr. Besehara come to our house to look at our cat. She had a lump on her side. He looked at her and determined she had a cyst about the size of a walnut. He sedated her then removed it, stitched her up gave her melds and ointment on the stitches. Gave us Medes and ointment to use for the next 2 weeks. He will come back then to remove stitches. He is very knowledgable, polite and explained everything he did. We highly recommended him. Very affordable.

I'll be honest and say I have encountered rudeness from front desk staff (not all but you know what they say about one bad apple) however, Dr. Reno is AMAZING!!! My family and I have been coming to this office for decades! Dr. Reno and his late father actually care about the animal and go above and beyond to help care for your fur baby! Thank you for all you do & RIP Dr. Reno!

Horrible. The veterinarian was not friendly. They were so slow I waited over an hour to get in when they said it would be fast. Every time you go in they just try to sell their product so it ends up costing you a fortune. I will never take my animals to this vet again.

My cat was in the horrible throws of death. We had already been established clients there and when I rushed her down to put her out of her misery, they wouldn't even look at her even though they could hear her crying in pain. They wanted to do a full exam on her 1st even though they already had recently and knew this day was coming soon. Then I overheard them talking about me when they thought I couldn't hear. So I left and she died in my arms a few hours later. I've worked at several vets and never would we have handled a situation like this. They just care about business, not pets.

MY NAME IS CHRISTINE ZAVALA AND MY DOG IS MAGGIE MAY. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO THINK WE ARE SUGAR COATING ANYTHING OR IMAGINARY. THANK YOU DR. KAMEL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS. Critters Without Litters
I had my two male cats neutered for $40 a piece. They did a good job; they were very friendly and professional. My only complaint is that my cats became ill when I got them home. The cats may have picked up some sickness from there, but I can't confirm that.

I recently had to make the tough decision to have my 15 year old dog put down. She was deaf and blind and taking her out of the house to have it done was something I did not want to have to do. I looked online and found called Dr. Beshara. He was able to come out the same day I called. He was very gentle and caring. Sunshine was able to be at home surrounded by people she loved when she passed on. I highly recommend Dr. Beshara to anyone that may need this service. I have other cats and dogs and will definitely use his services for their vet needs. He was affordable and you could tell he was doing it for the love he has of animals.

Recently, I had an elderly dog with trouble walking and an eye that was ceeping pus. I also had a cat with very dirty ears. I took them both to a veterinarian hospital. I was told the dog had allergies not to worry and he was old so he probably had hip dysplasia. For the cat, I was told he had just had a little dirt in ears no infection (extremely dirty ears. After several hundreds of dollars later, I left a little confused. LUCKILY, I found Dr. Bashara! He came to my home and immediately found the problems with my animals. He was professional, caring and very knowledgeable on treating my babies. TODAY, my dogs eye is cleared up (it was an infection) and he is walking around like he is years younger. My cats ears are perfectly clean and treated now (infection). I will never use any of the previous veterinarians whom didn't treat my animals at all and shuffled us off like cattle. From now on ONLY DR. BESHARA will treat my babies. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. BESHARA FOR your personal animal doctor.** very affordable!

Tips & Advices
Most 24-hour clinics do not allow owners to stay with their pets overnight. However, many do have specific visiting hours or will let owners see their pets at any point during the day. In addition, owners can call most clinics at any time for an update on their pet's well being.
  • Important phone numbers, especially those of the the veterinary clinic, the animal hospital or emergency clinic, and the poison control center
  • A book detailing pet first-aid steps
  • Copy of medical records
  • Nylon leash
  • Muzzle (only use if pet is not vomiting and has no difficulty breathing)
  • Absorbent gauze
  • Nonlatex disposable gloves
  • Scissors
  • Tweezers
  • Nail clippers
  • Digital thermometer
  • Sterile saline solution
  • Hydrogen peroxide (to induce vomiting only at the recommendation of a veterinarian
  • Milk of magnesia (to absorb poison only at the recommendation of a veterinarian)
Find a 24-hour animal hospital that provides emergency services within your area. Keep the facility's contact information in a place that's easy to locate, such as the refrigerator, address book, or smartphone. Most veterinary clinics operate on standard business hours and are not equipped to handle emergencies.
Veterinary clinics operate on a smaller scale than animal hospitals. The latter are more likely open 24 hours and provide emergency services. The former generally operate on typical office hours and only perform wellness exams and minor surgeries. Veterinary clinics also do not generally perform laboratory tests on site.
The specifics vary depending on the type of visit. For a wellness exam, bring:
  • Medical records
  • The type or brand of food the pet eats
  • Medication (including flea, tick, and heartworm medication).
If the animal needs medical treatment, the following may be helpful depending on the situation:
  • Fresh stool sample
  • Vomit sample
  • Video of the pet engaging in abnormal behavior
  • Substance the pet may have ingested
