Purchased a refrigerator. All was well and fine until we received the automated call to confirm delivery. Turns out that there was an address error for the delivery. So we spoke with them thinking that this was a simple issue to fix, caught before delivered to the wrong place. The lady was extremely rude and bothered, she didn't want to go back in reroute anything. All she kept doing was placing blame. So we asked if it would still be the same day, and her curt response was that we would have to wait for an automated call again which is ridiculous when speaking with a live person. We called back, this time speaking with a manager named Phillip, who essentially doubled down on the rude behavior of the previous person. All that we wanted was a time frame so we could be sure to be present for the delivery. After him placing lots of blame, letting us know he has to do many things, and just what a bother a customer was, he said he had to have ten minutes and he would call back. At this point we let him know that we could easily purchase a Kitchenaid refrigerator pretty much any where else, his response was thats your prerogative. We called back to speak to a manager above him to cancel our order. We were told he would call us back. He didn't. Instead we got Phillip again. Who was again rude, condescending and asked what we expect of him since we already said we were cancelling. So after the order was supposed to be cancelled, we received a call from the sales associate trying to fix the situation, trying to offer free delivery, at this point it had absolutely nothing to do with the money. Again, this was a small issue that completely blew up. All we wanted was a time estimate, we didn't ask for a specific time. They could have easily put it on to be delivered first or delivered last. We didn't care. We just wanted an idea of when we needed to be home for it. At the end of the day, this is an independent business that we can't support.

"Yeah, we've got a 250 volt 15 amp fuse in stock. I'm looking at it right now." Sent my SIL home with a 125 volt fuse. Poor attention to detail. Don't trust them to send an inexperienced someone in to pick up the parts they say they have in stock. And ALWAYS send the old part with them and double check visually that they are giving you the right part. They got obviously insulted after they asked me if I had installed the new fuse and I told them there was no sense installing a 125 volt fuse in a 250 volt microwave and hung up on me.

Unreliable. They leave without checking their work or verifying if all problems have been resolved. They want cold air blowing, with no regard to your equipment. High turn around is all that interests them. Not recommended.

Our AC went out on July 3rd and we called Power and Performance first thing on July 4th. The tech came out that afternoon and quickly identified the problem and got it fixed. He even honored a coupon for a reduced service charge. He did a great job. Thanks

The repair guy came over and did a great job the day before June 24th. Days like these in Bakersfield get extremely hot and he came promptly and fixed my problem with my air conditioning with speed.All in all, I would highly recommend this company for fixing your air conditioning needs. Thanks.

I originally called econo air they came out and told me I needed a new system. I then called power and performance air for another Est. When they came out they offered to verify econo airs diagnostic and found that it was a simple problem and repaired it for about 250. Saved me thousands on a new system I did not need. Thank you very much.

I did my research before hiring this company. Turns out they do not have a valid sellers permit or insurance; and they are under investigation for tax fraud. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Would have given no stars if could; but had to, to post review.

This company is AMAZING! I called in the afternoon and they were able to schedule me for later in the eveing, The secretary was nice and the technician Mike was very professional and knowledgeable. The price he quoted me was really low for the high quality work performed. After he left (with a tip ;) I called other companies to get quotes and found Power and Performance had dominated their competition with price, quality, and friendliness! After all do you want someone in your home who doesnt respect it or the professionals at Power and Performance Air?

This is the worst experienced I've had with a repair shop. I visited the The Appliance Store and told them about the problem with my refrigerator. I left my address and number and was told someone would be by in a couple of hours. After not hearing from anybody for over 6 hours, I called the shop and was told the guy "must have forgotten" and that "he'll be there right now". A guy named Greg came over and saw my refrigerator. After opening the door and not really checking anything, he said the inlet valve was the problem and I needed a new one. He also said he didn't have one in stock but he could have one by the next day and would come install it. He wrote a work order with an estimate for $120. I said, OK and he was on his way.The following day he never showed up. I called The Appliance Store and no one answered. I then called Greg as I had his cell phone number and his voice mail was full so I couldn't even leave a message. I didn't hear from anyone for a few days. I then called Greg again a few days later and left a message. He never called me back. After a week of not hearing from anyone at this so called repair shop, I went and bought the part and fixed the refrigerator myself. The Appliance Store gets a rating of 1 star for being very unprofessional and I would NEVER recommend their repair shop to anyone.
