Great food and service. Clean restaurant and fair prices. Friendly staff and attentive. Has juke box with latest hits, English and Spanish.

El Sombrero Restaurant
I have been going there over 35 years and the service and food has always been great. The special burrito is one of my favorites.Always been able to park close. The nachos are really good. Yes they serve drinks. Some times it gets noisy but that's because everyone is enjoying themselves.

Tacos La Villa
Worst customer service ever. Called a to go order in the woman was rude than came to pick it up went through the drive thru and the woman told me I couldn't pick it up I had to go so I wasn't rude and went in. Than she refused to give me my order because she said it wasn't far to others that I ordered in. Had someone pick me up food from here before but the olive dr store has way better food and service I wouldn't tell anyone to go to this one and I'll never go back.

Los Tacos Dona Maria Inc.
First off, I was forced to pay what was an outrageous amount of money for what was supposed to be a fajita platter of all beans and peppers and onions and say that there was 4 pieces of dry tiny meat in it. Along with a wet burrito that was supposed to be red sauce but turned out to be a watered down sauce. I then tried to get my money back. Got harassed by Mexicans. Left the food on the counter . Went back for soda refill. Walked out the door. Wouldn't feed that food to my dog.

Sol Y Luna Mexican Cuisine
This place has hands down the best flavor in Bakersfield! We were faithful to La Costa but since comming here! we will no longer be going there! flavor! flavor! flavor! The only thing I would work on is there salsa! Needs less garlic and onions! more chuncky tomatoes and culantro!

Red Pepper Restaurant
i would be careful to eat at this restaurant the owner cuts corners by recycling chips that have already been served to paying customers the cooks and the waiters drink all day long the restaurants liquor the owner cheats employees out of their hard earned wages and pays them only the hours she chooses to pay not all the hours they work and doesn't give them breaks of any kind i'm surprised shes still open i cant believe that in the year 2016 such illegal inhumane activity goes on in a reputable restaurant such as this it makes me sad to think of how may more businesses run their business like this has it gotten to the point where you cant trust anything or anyone other than what you can control in your own home obviously officials the people who are supposed to be regulating the habits and procedures of public businesses has to be looking the other way is their anybody that can help

Mariscos Puerto Vallarta
I have passed this place many times over the years and yet did not go in; the windows etc always made it look closed. Was next door for another reason so went in to look around. Was so surprised to see a REAL Mexican restaurant in Bakersfield. Got the fish taco on suggestion of lovely waitress, and it was huge. One was plenty for $4.50. I went back the next night to get the whole fried fish..delicious and so filling. I will go back, as I have a couple of weeks to eat alone, and I love seafood. This is the best; I eyed other people's plates and will go back tomorrow for the bacon/cheese shrimp, which is highly acclaimed by many. Don't pass this place up. The furniture is old, and it is mainly Hispanics there, and the menu is in Spanish but with English translations. You can always tell a great ethnic restaurant by whom eats there. The staff was so friendly. You can spend little or a lot. Believe me, the taco at $4.50 is unlike any other Fish taco you have had.

Me and my brother make this little spot our first stop every weekend the menudo is the best. I'm hoping they start making some Texas style tacos and then they would earn my 5 star review

Just a moment...
