Clean Puppy Pet Grooming
STEPHANIE IS THE LADY THAT OWNS THIS WONDERFUL GROOMING FACILITY. MEGAN IS HER ASSISTANT AND IS AN EXTRA SPECTACULAR LADY TO HAVE WORKING FOR HER. LET ME TELL YOU THIS. MY DOG HAS BEEN HURT IN SEVERAL WAYS BY AT LEAST 3 GROOMERS. HE HATES TO HAVE A BATH BECAUSE OF THE WAY HE WAS TREATED AND TALKED TO, HE HATES TO HAVE HIS FACE , FEET, AND TAIL DONE. I CAN TELL YOU HE HAS COME OUT WITH SOME INJURIES THAT IS UNFORGIVABLE ON HIS EAR, LEG, AND FEET FROM OTHER GROOMERS. I TALKED TO STEPHANIE ABOUT HIM IN A LENGTHY DISCUSSION . SHE IS THE SWEETEST PERSON , VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, SO DOWN TO EARTH, AND SUCH A LOVELY LADY. I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT STEPHANIE AND MEGAN REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS. THEIR GOAL IS TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE TREATED RIGHT, HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE, THEY WORK VERY HARD TO MAKE SURE THIS HAPPENS, AND THAT THE PETS FEEL AT HOME THERE AND ARE NOT AFRAID. MY DOG, FROM PAST EXPERIENCES WAS NOT EXPECTED TO BE ANYTHING BUT AFRAID IN MY MIND, BUT HOPING I WOULD BE WRONG. I TRUSTED STEPHANIE, HAD A GOOD FEELING IN MY HEART ABOUT HER, AND WE WERE SO VERY BLESSED! HE LIKED IT THERE AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I NOW CAN RELAX AND KNOW THAT MY PET WILL BE FINE AND I CAN GO OFF AND NOT WORRY WHAT IS HAPPENING TO HIM. THANK YOU , THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A WONDERFUL GROOMER AND A KIND HEARTED PERSON. MEGAN TOO!

The best groomer out there! Shelly is the best owner she does an excellent job. We have two Maltese pups one is 4 and the other is 1 years old . Shelly will always help you out in a bind ,yesterday my one year old got a hold of a ink pen(white dog- black ink), Shelly said bring her right in , got all the ink out at no extra charge and this wasn't the first time we had a grooming emergency when she has taken them right in .Just a great place, who cares for our pups. Uptown Grooming
I was referred to Uptown Grooming by Lucky Dog because my Chihuahua/Terrier mix is extremely aggressive with almost all groomers. Lucky Dog suggested I get my dog sedated before I take him to the groomer. My Vet prescribed the sedative and though it took time for the sedative to take effect Uptown Grooming did a wonderful job with my dog thanks to Amanda, and Cecilia!!!!

Uptown Grooming
Absolutely wonderful service! Could not have asked for a better price or better customer service. My dog (Golden Retriever) looks great and they were more affordable than any other grooming service I found in the Austin/Cedar Park area. The owner is so friendly and helpful and groomer is so talented. Will be coming back to use them again without a doubt!!!5/21/2014

Daycare Grooming
Our family just moved to the cedar park area and our shitzu was in desperate need of a bath and grooming. Most items were still in boxes including our dogs health/shot records, so finding this place was was a god send. They did a great job on grooming, fast and courteous. Competitive pricing also. We'll definitely go back!

Mud Puppies Self Serv Dog Wash
Our dogs just started going here for doggie daycare. It is the BEST. First they love going. The whimpering and excitement starts blocks away. They come home tired (what is better than that). The staff loves our guys. I know they are well cared for each day. We have also had them groomed here with great results.

They groomed our poodle for 15 years and she loved going there. They did an excellent job. We have used them for the new dogs and they do a great job, but we moved and are not nearby. Would highly recommend Best Dressed Dog.

Amazing Pet Grooming
It is very important for me that the groomers know how to take care of my dogs properly. And so far, I have no problems with the people here.
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
