  • Worst doctor I've ever been to!

    This was the worst doctors office I have ever been to. I got there at 1:45 for my appt at 2:00. I DID NOT see the doctor until 2:50!!! And, out of the total hour and 45 mintues there, I spoke to the doctor for a total of 2 minutes! I came to him about a back problem, and precribed me steroids and told me to come back next week! Seriously!!!! If I could take back my time and money I would. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

    The office is in a strip mall. I had to wait 45 mins to have my vital signs taken. Finally I got to a room where I waited another 20 mins.

    I was then seen not by Dr. Lewis' NP Ms. Reilly, but by her student. I got a good physical exam and then Ms. Reilly came in. I received my Rx refills for chronic medications that I was on.

    However, when Ms. Reilly got my lab results back, she told me that I needed a dose increase in a medication. However, she called in the same dose that I was currently taking. It took me a couple of calls to get this corrected.

    Then she gave me one refill of this medication which is a routine thyroid medication. The pharmacy had to fax her for a refill, but had not heard from her 5 days later (including 2 weekend days). I had to call their office and badger the MA for the refill.

    A friend (who encouraged me to see Ms. Reilly) has had the same experience; his refill was requested 4 working days ago, and so far the pharmacy has not heard from the NP.

    This is inexcusable. What if one of us was actually sick. What if a break in medication could result in disastrous consequences?

    Avoid this office like the plague!!!!
