    The quality control is horrible. Lauren (one of the owners) came by to see the doors after they were installed. Austin Doorman's staff drilled the holes for the door at various heights so that the finished effect looked like a zig zag up and down the hall and all throughout the house. They were late in delivering trim materials to the job site so in order to keep the trim carpenters on schedule, I paid for more trim (out of my own pocket) and then 2 weeks later Austin Doorman's trim materials finally arrived...but we were finished with the project by then. According to the contract, Austin Doorman was contractually obligated to refund me for unused trim materials, so I thought I would be able to be reimbursed for the "late arriving material", BUT SURPRISE LAUREN TOLD ME AUSTIN DOORMAN WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. If you know anybody who needs trim material, send them my way because I've got a garage full.



    Generally speaking, customer service is awful they don't answer their phones and are not timely in returning phone calls either-especially if you're unhappy with their service or product.



    Do yourself a favor, and run away as fast as you can and don't look back. It 's the worst vendor I dealt with on the costruction of my home.
