We moved to the area in the summer of 2015, and looked carefully for pre-schools for our child. Many of the options in the area seemed satisfactory, but frankly more like businesses than educational establishments. So then we stumbled across BlueBonnet, and our initial impressions were extremely positive. The owner is a tremendous spirit and a lovely person. The teachers are all extremely thoughtful, kind, smart, and worldly, in a benevolent way. The thought process behind the schooling is creative and functional. I can see the artistic in my son, and the engineer too. The teachers clearly love what they do, and it shines through. Interaction with the other parents has been tremendous - we've made many friends, and it's been a really nice way to get involved in our local community. BlueBonnet does a great job developing our child's mind, and his spirit. And to add to this, they are kind, caring and honorable people, who want to make the world a better place. In my opinion, you couldn't ask for more

I have 2 children enrolled, ages 3 and 5. Both attended starting at the age or 2. Each class has one lead teacher and 2 assistants. There's an excellent mix of learning and play. My child turned 5 in July, and she is able to read and write simple books completely on her own, and more difficult ones with occasional assistance. The teachers are warm, friendly and affectionate with the children. They are always open to taking time and discussing any concerns with the parents. We are always sad when they move on to the next class up b/c their teacher was so wonderful, but then quickly learn that the next one is fantastic as well. I agree that the only negative is the TV time. I appreciate the diversity among the students, parents and staff, if that is of interest to prospective families. They also offer classes during daytime hours, making it easier on working parents to expose their children to more activities such as foreign language (Spanish and Chinese), dance, gymnastics, computer.

This is a great school! We had two children at NWM for three years. It could not have been a better experience! The school is well-organized, child-centered, and diverse. Staff are experienced and provide a warm, caring environment. Our children entered first grade well ahead of their peers, and best of all, they love to learn. They will never forget Ms. Ali and their other teachers at NWM!
Hope Chapel draws people from all over Austin, including professionals, artists, geeks, young families, UT students, retired couples, and musicians. It's a real community, like a family you choose. It's not a big church, and it's humble in appearance, but there's a lot of love.
