I Heart Rolfing
A Review From Yelp: Kian is absolutely AMAZING! I've had rolfing done before in the past by another certified rolfer in the Austin area that had left me with a not so pleasant experience (though that was due to the nature of the rolfer I went to, the rolfing itself was good), but Kian completely changed that and I've definitely found me a rolfer I'm keeping. I just completed my first of what will be a series of rolfing sessions with Kian today. He's courteous and professional and really takes the time to get acquainted with what your problem areas are, what needs to be done to those areas, and how your body responds to the rolfing treatment. If you are a sufferer of chronic pain like me, I definitely recommend going to New Austin Rolfing.

Massage Heights Parmer Crossing
I have been a client of Massage Heights for many years now. Normally I see my massage therapist, Karen Byer, for my chronic neck and shoulder issues from stress and posture. However last week I suffered from kidney stones and panic attacks. Needless to say my body was very tight, sore and under stress. I saw Karen today and wow do I feel better! This is exactly the self-care that I needed to finally get my body feeling stronger, better and relaxed again. I highly recommend Karen Byer and the Parmer Crossing location. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and Karen is the best!

Organic Spa Massage & SkinCare
I love this place so much! The decor and ambiance is wonderful, but I love my OrganicSpa aesthetician Sara more! She is the reason I go to this spa. She hands down gives the best, most thorough yet gentle and relaxing facials I have ever received. Her microdermabrasion technique leaves my skin looking almost scarless. Repeat treatments from her have given me the best skin of my life. Truly life altering facials. She honestly cares about her clients concerns and listens. She then treats you according to your specific needs. She is truly the best!

Rosewood Chiropractic and Massage Therapy
This is a great chiropractic center. They work with my insurance and offer a 1/2 hour or hour massage with a chiropractic visit and it is all covered! The care is great and Dr. Michelle is very attentive. She is always focused on what will make me feel better.I would recommend them!

Reliant Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin
Great hospital that took amazing care of my Dad. I couldn't have asked for a more caring place for him to go after his stroke. We had plenty of choices and went out on a limb and chose this place after taking a tour. Great people and a great place!

Massage Envy - Circle C
This place is decent. I had back trouble for years after an injury that caused a broken back. The massages helped a little.
Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
