1st Source Servall Appliance Parts
This place is a rip off. They overcharge for parts. I'd never use them again. Many other places offer same items for much lower prices. They also have very bad customer service.

Sears Appliance Repair
We bought a Samsung refrigerator in Feb. 2013. We initially bought the 3 year warranty for $380 which was very good advice. (We were convinced because they come out and service it annually regardless of need). After that warranty expired, we thought we could do without. Within a month, we needed service and bought the next 3 year warranty--now for $566. In addition to our annual service, we have had 5 repair visits. In the past, the repairs were handled to our satisfaction. This recent repair request showed us that something is going on with Sears. The first representative refused to send someone out. Our refrigerator was making a loud humming noise, which had happened in the same way in April 2016--resulting in our refrig. not cooling. However, the humming was not consistent and we couldn't predict when it would hum. The rep said that if she sent someone out and it wasn't humming, we would be charged for the service call. Finally we left it that the manager would call us back which never happened. So, I called again and talked to a different rep. She started playing the same game that they wouldn't send anyone out. I asked to speak to the manager and that caused her to cooperate and schedule a technician. He came out, quickly assessed the problem, said they had only sent him out to do annual service check (which we didn't ask for) and said he would order the part and return. To make a long story short, there was some major confusion. The part was never ordered and there seemed to be no record of his visit. We had to start over with another tech. He could not diagnose the problem and our refrigerator continues to periodically hum very loudly. Very disappointed with Sear's cust. svc. and the high but necessary warranty cost. Worth it to buy another refrigerator!

Sears Appliance Repair
tech sold us invalid warranty ,we paid full price and when i called for service discovered no model # on frig was never documented so no service could be preformed. i was on the phone for over 3 hours over 2 days trying to get my money back. very discouraged Sears has such people working for them. this tech mis- represented and sold us a warranty that could not be honored, how is that promoting a good name for Sears? giving them a one star rating is way to much of a good rating for this mess that we experienced.

The tech arrived almost an hour after the 1-5 PM window. He needed just one minute to see the washer's pedestal was broken (we should have realized) and charged us $101. He didn't explain what it would take to replace or remove it — we googled to find that out — and generally didn't help us AT ALL. He was also rude, ignoring questions and seemingly pretending he didn't hear me. We bought a new washing machine — but not from Sears.

Malone Service
A very bad experience with Larry Malone's landscaping service. The foreman had liquor on his breath the last two days and this is probably why the job was botched royally. I asked Larry to resolve it with me. He never replied back to work it out, just left it unfinished.[EDIT]: Now, exactly 365 days later, he tries to cash the check again. He says he did so even though he knew the account had no funds ( see below ). I emailed him to ask what's up? and threatened this negative review. He replied back:"You must somehow still have my email blocked, below is the response I sent you 2 days ago, along with pictures of the certified mail I sent you that you didn't except. Better check with your bank, because the checks were declined. I checked with your bank 1st to make sure the funds were not available before I deposited them in my account on my attorneys advise, because I intend to sue you over this invoice. If you follow through with any of the threats you made in your email, I am going to sue you for everything you own. I have pictures taken several times showing you have done nothing, but you are using the ditch, just as it was intended. Your threat says I messed with the wrong person, all I can say is you have no idea."What an idiot. Larry Malone doesn't have a lawyer, because if he did, the lawyer would surely have informed him the proper process is to file a lien, which he didn't do. Also the lawyer couldn't have possibly made as many spelling errors as Larry's letter.

Israel is the BEST. he is competent, friendly, on time and anything else you can think of the say he is great. I am at 5 years on my refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. No problems so far. Just keep doing the yearly checkups to catch anything before it becomes a problem.

Depew Appliance Sales & Service
I don't recommend this group. I had a technician come out. We paid our fee to have the issue addressed and of course they took our money. Told us what the issue was and that they could do this, but would need to take it in for the repairs. Was told they would call me to book it the next morning. Instead I get a call saying 'oh no, we never fix that particular issue'. Didn't even apologize for his serviceman flat out lying to me that yes addressing this would not be a problem! At least the first guy we had come out had the decency to say "I can't do this" and told us there would be no charge. Won't call this group for anything again!

If I could put a negative minus star I would..We bought a craftsman lawn tractor from sears and this was the worst mistake ever. Sears has replace our transmission 3x and we are still having on going transmission problem. This new hydro-static transmission is made out of plastic components with the belts design which allow grass and debris to accumulate on the deck interfering the full operating function of getting the job done. Does not do the work it was advertised. Every time I use this machine I have to call out sears to fix it.

It took a few days for them to get to us, when we had a refrigerator leak. They came out, found the problem, but then it started leaking again. We wish the first guy had discovered the problem, we had a bad water filter, and he told us that, but he did not discover the other problem, so we had to have a repairman out again.
Tips & Advices
Aftermarket replacement parts can be perfectly safe and reliable, but be sure to do your research. If replacing a more integral piece, such as washing machine’s water pump or a thermostat for a busted water heater, it might be best to purchase new.
Replacement parts generally come with warranties extending anywhere from 30 days to five years, depending on the original price, the nature of the fix and the age of the part itself.
If you’re seeking new parts repair companies will generally mark up their prices slightly--particularly at a major national retailer. However, used parts are typically discounted.
Cheaper used appliance parts can be found online or at many local, independently owned retailers, along with ecommerce sites such as eBay. Major retailers, however, generally limit their selection to unused, full-priced options.
Second-hand appliance parts are generally anywhere between 50-75% cheaper than new ones, but warranties might not extend as long and the parts may be less reliable or come with a shorter lifespan. Be sure to research the source of any second-hand parts to ensure the dealer is reputable and the part itself reliable.
