River Rock Dental- Southpark Meadows
Not a fan of the dentist but I had a great experience at River rock dental in South Park meadows. I had an appointed early so when I got there I was attended to right away, the staff was great and very professional. The facility was very clean and the process of my appointment was quick and easy. I can't recall everyone's name since I'm bad with names but all the staff was great especially the hygienists who was so friendly and made my visit great. Overall I had a great experience I would highly recommend River rock dental.

EVERYONE, PLEASE READ:Be aware that this is not an Urgent Care Facility. This is an Emergency Room with 24/7 staff and full facilities for dealing with life-threatening emergencies. The costs of a visit are in keeping with what you would see if you went to a hospital ER. Your bill or the bill your insurance gets will be HUGE. If you don't have an actual emergency, PLEASE do not use this place. Find an Urgent Care facility or wait to see your regular doctor.

I took my daughter to AEC on Anderson Mill because of an ankle injury while playing soccer. I found the staff very informative, professional and they all seemed to enjoy their job. My daughter was immediately taken to a room where she was examined by Dr Shih and a cold pack was applied. She then was promptly taken for a x-ray. Dr Shih showed the ankle x-ray to my daughter and myself and explained the anatomy of the ankle and what injury had taken place. An ace bandage was applied and crutches provided. The whole process had taken maybe 30-40 min. I know we would have waited much longer in a big emergency room. I would not hesitate to return to AEC for emergency care of my family.

First Choice Emergency Room
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I would give this place zero stars if I could. As you can read from the other reviewers, their billing is out of control. But let's say, hypothetically, that you have tons of excess money to throw at those peasant doctors. STILL DO NOT COME HERE. The doctor was with me for only 7 minutes and he tried to argue my symptoms with me. He told me that if I have back pain that automatically means I have kidney stones! I had no idea the only cause of back pain was kidney stones, thanks Doc ;) Anywho, he did not listen to me and his incompetence was overwhelming. I really want to know where he went to medical school because they need to be shut down. I payed $250 for a urine sample and 7 mins with the doc. If you value your life, you will not come see these fools.

Hillside Dentistry
My visit to Hillside Dentistry was very positive. The staff was quite helpful in working with my busy schedule. I was able to get fitted for my night guard in a short period of time. When I picked up my night guard, Dr. Essig made sure it fit comfortably. I also received a free fitted teeth whitening tray as a limited special promotion. I have plans to return for all my routine dental check ups!Donna L.

Hillside Dentistry
Dr. Essig and the staff at Hillside Dentistry are excellent! Dr. Essig is kind and caring, explains each procedure and is a wonderful family dentist. His new location is just behind The Grove on RR620 and easy to access; the building is new and is patient oriented. I highly recommend Dr. Essig and will return to him for any other dental needs.

I've been taking my 4 kids to this location for about 2 years and I absolutely love it! Staff is awesome! This last we went my 3 yr. Old went with the assistant by herself and was able to take x-rays. They were super friendly and patient with her. I definitely recommend this dental office!

Lone Star Pediatric Dental
I have been there for 4 years since my 2nd boy was 1 and now my little girl is also seen there. All the staff make us feel comfortable at the clinic and they are so kind and explain details well enough for me to understand my kids situations.
Tips & Advices
Emergency care facilities can treat infants and children. Roughly 16 percent of emergency patients are infants and children, so the medical professionals at these facilities typically have strong experience in pediatric emergency care.
The average wait time will depend on the type of emergency care facility.. Wait times typically average less than 20 minutes at an urgent care facility. At a hospital-based emergency care facility that treats life-threatening conditions, wait times can take as long as an hour or more.
Board certification is not required for emergency care facilities. However, the top facilities are often board certified. At hospitals, many emergency care centers require that their physicians be board certified as a qualification for employment. Two boards that handle this type of certification are the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Emergency care facilities include those that offer urgent care, and some urgent care facilities offer certain primary care services. At these facilities, patients are usually evaluated upon arrival, and a determination is made as to whether the problem requires emergency care, urgent care, or primary care.
Some medical tests and scans are performed at emergency care facilities. These facilities may perform select X-rays and blood tests if this is deemed necessary to assist your treatment. However, the range of medical tests and scans offered is much more limited than those offered as part of standard hospital care.
