Italian Restaurants in Aurora, CO
1.Anthony's Pizza & Pasta

My son and I ate at Anthony's on Iliff at Buckley on our way to skiing at Keystone. We consider ourselves ""Pizza Connoisseurs"", we only eat plain cheese pies. I grew up on Long Island in the 50s and 60s and thought I had gone back in time while eating a pie at Anthony's. It was great trying to keep the oils from running down my arm with each huge slice. I live in Florida now and there is no such thing as a good pizza pie in Florida. I thought my memories had been tainted by this, but I was on Long Island for a wedding April 2008. I tried pies at several places and was shocked when none of them compared to Anthony's on Iliff at Buckley. At one place, the sauce was so bland I had to season the pie myself. Anthony's has the perfect sauce to go with a high quality cheese and the perfect crust. I normally save the crust for last in case I'm still hungry after eating the ""good stuff"". At Anthony's I found myself eating the crusts with each slice. When I mentioned this to the ""chef"", I called him this because of the quality of product he had created, he told me in the future, if I let him know, he would carry the sauce and cheese further out to leave no crust. I told him that for once I really enjoyed the crust and would get the pies as their standard in the future. My son and I have been watching airfares to try and sneak in a long weekend to Denver this summer to eat at Anthony's on Iliff at Buckley. We may slip out to Keystone to see what the slopes look like in summer, but only after getting full of what I consider, after my Long Island trip, the best pizza in the country, Anthony's on Iliff. I keep calling it Anthony's on Iliff at Buckley, because this is far superior to the other Anthony's stores in Denver. If you can, eat in at this Anthony's, the atmosphere brings you back to New York, the extra large pie is 22"" and the refill sodas are free. I'm embarrassed to say that I've been so overwhelmed by the pizza, that I haven't tried the other items offered yet.

This is the greatest family business in the Southlands area! The food is amazing, I highly recommend the HUGE calzones (my fave, and I never liked calzones before), the pizza is amazing too. Check them out, but give them plenty of time, perfection doesn't come easy...or fast! If you order ahead, and they say 20 mins, give them 30 and prepare to enjoy!

I'm new to the area. So I needed to find "my Italian restaurant". I think we did. The atmosphere was casual, the price affordable. The server, the owner's daughter was a spitfire. My wife and I had a lot of fun. This is all nice, of course, but the bottom line is the food. Normally I don't like heavy pasta, but I frequently get a "Jones" for lasagna. Their's was wonderful. The sausage spiced perfectly. My wife's dish was angel hair with white clam sauce. The sausce was a beautiful blend of garlic and white wine. There are fancier restaurant's than Armando's, I'm sure. I'm also sure the price tag matches "the atmosphere". I bet the food is no better. For great food in a relaxed atmosphere, Armando's is the place

Everything is all natural, handmade from scratch. We turn semolina flour, sea salt and water into pasta then hand fill ravioli, build lasagna and cut spaghetti. Then we cook it so all you have to do is heat it up. Hot nutritious meals on your table in 10 minutes or less.

We were driving around looking for a family friendly affordable place to eat and came across the Bent Noddle in Denver. We read some reviews on our phones prior to going in. We were blown away by the service, the hostess, waiters, and other staff were wonderful and attentive. The food was amazing and reasonably priced, especially considering our two children ate FREE. The alcohol was a little over priced a glass of wine was $4.00 and that was happy hour price (normally 6.50), but at least it was a full glass. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Denver.

Very good eggplant parm! I like to get takeout on a busy night - I always request an extra loaf of the herb bread - it makes an excellent breakfast toast. One of my favorite restaurants!

Carrabba's is excellent food if one understands that it is a chain restaurant built around a clever theme. The grilled items are uniformly excellent and tasty, the pastas are cooked al dente and well prepared, and the sides are not overlooked. It is vastly superior to an Olive Garden, or its closest competitor Macaroni Grill. I've enjoyed several excellent meals there that exceeded my expectations. Is it truly highbrow Italian cuisine? No, but it doesn't pretend to be either like Il Fornaio. It hits the spot when we want to eat good food and don't feel like spending three hours or a hundred bucks to get something better.

I placed an order last night after checking papa rick's website to see what the delivery fee was. The site said delivery was free to my address. I called the store to place an order. They said i was over 5 miles away and tacked on a $3 delivery fee. I checked GPS when i hung up and found I was well under 5 miles. I called back and canceled my order. They told me they didn't care, I was still wrong. I checked my account later and saw that they had charged my card. I called and asked them to refund the money and was told I didn't get a refund since I didn't have a problem with the food (which was never delivered). I was given a number to call to speak to the manager. It was a wrong number. I called the store today and asked to speak to the manager. The woman who answered the phone told me that there was no manager on duty and that she didn't know who the manager was. I suggested she ask someone. She said "okay" and hung up on me. I called back, had essentially the same conversation and was hung up on again. I called a third time and she explained to me that she didn't know the managers name because it was her first day on the job and she was there alone. Hung up. I drove to the store. The woman I spoke with was there along with several other employees and a number of children wandering around the kitchen. She argued with me for several minutes, refusing to refund my money. She was exceptionally hard to understand. It didn't help that she and the other employees were smiling and obviously entertained by all of this. I didn't leave, so she finally gave me the number for the owner and said they would solve the problem. I called the owner from my cell phone in front of the store. Another wrong number. I walked back inside and told her the number was no good. She argued some more then picked up the phone and spoke to someone in another language for several minutes. She told me it was the owner and handed me the phone. The owner told me in an irritated tone that he was very sorry and my money had already been refunded to my card i just won't see it for several days. I pointed out that a lot of time and irritation could have avoided if Id been told that at the outset instead of being lied to, given fake numbers and generally treated like crap. I doubt that i spoke with the actual owner and i definitely don't trust these con artists to refund my money. I've had to dispute the charge with my bank. Its worth mentioning that if I'd known the store was as nasty and dirty as it is, I wouldn't have placed an order there to begin with.

I'm not sure why this place is listed as Parkway Catering...they do catering, but the name on the door is Parkway Bar & Grill. Anyway, I go to this place alot!! It's right around the corner from my house, and the staff there are always so friendly!! The food is superb...much higher quality than your standard bar food.

The only entree if have enjoyed, and I have done it a lot, is the pizza. I LOVE pizza and this is about the best I have found in Denver. Now that I think of it, I have also had rolls and chips & salsa since that is complementary. Both are fantastic as well. Fair prices, fine service and great pizza. I would bet a paycheck the other items are good I just cannot stop getting the pizza long enough to find out!

Under new ownership and management (well, sort of new - since about 2007/2008), this place is hugely improved. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. Very nice people, and a great place to have some outstanding Italian food without spending too much.

Cherry Tomato is one of my favorite places in Denver. It is such a cute little neighborhood restaurant with lots of charm and reasonable prices.\r \r The Carbonara is AMAZING. My boyfriend and I crave it and usually get it every time. The Seafood Ravioli is also very good.\r \r I have brought family here a few times and everyone is always pleased with their meal and the atmosphere.

I am relatively new to Denver and a friend in town suggested we go there this past week for dinner. I went with a group of 6 and we had a great time. The staff were very good at their job and amusing to boot. The best thing I liked was when one of us suggested we order an entree that the server did not feel was a good value, he let us know. The wine list had a very good variety of options at reasonable prices. Most of the list was under the 50 dollar mark. Overall the food was very good and the portions were huge. We enjoyed ourselves and I feel I have found a restaurant worth returning to in Denver which isn't as easy as I thought it would be.

Wow!!! There is not a single thing I would change about this restaurant. That is rare for me to say. Usually there is something that missed. This restaurant is PERFECT!! Let's start as we get there. Complimentary valet parking...as we were trying to find a spot, we saw this and were excited. Little things, you know. We get in and we were missing one of our party (who didn't make it) and without missing a beat, we got sat at an appropriately sized table. This was just last night. \r \r Now for the server, Andrew: he is getting his own paragraph. Anyone who wants to be a professional waiter, should sit at one of his tables and just observe. It was all about the little things, helping with wine selection, meal choices, everything. He understood the little nuances. When I questioned the bottle of wine, he even brought me a glass of something else to see if I liked it more. It turned out, the bottle was very young and just needed to open up. So, basically, the best waiter in town. \r \r As for the food: Here is what was ordered: roasted tuna appetizer (absolutely phenominal-although Randolph's wraps are more to my tastes), the gnocchi with crab (absolutely amazing), NY Strip Steak (amazing by all accounts), Halibut (simply perfect) and my meal the seafood plate. This was the best meal, I have ever had in Denver. I cook a lot, and I eat out a lot. This was the BEST meal I have had in Denver. \r \r So, the long and short of it, phenomenal.
