Terrible! IDK what happened. Dropped off 3 healthy dogs for a week and picked up 3 sick, injured, unhealthy dogs. Although we called and everything was said to be fine, when I picked them up everything was not fine. My retired government dog had lost 15lbs, my mini Boston terrier had blood shot eyes. When I asked, a young girl said that's the way he came in. It was not! Why would she even think to say that?! The next day, my third dog, who I had thought had made out the best, was limping. Have taken her to 2 separate vets, don't know what caused her injury. She's in a lot of pain and has lost all her muscle on one front shoulder. I paid $925 for her stay. Am paying huge vet bills now and can't guarantee my dog will live past this ordeal.

I purchased a puppy that had diarrhea and had to be taken to the emergency room slightly over 24 hours after I purchased the puppy. It had bacteria in it's colon and kennel cough and was sick for well over a month costing me hundreds of dollars in emergency room visits and vet bills and medications. The owner informed me that their policy was to reimburse for medications if their dogs were sick so I turned in my receipts and it has now been a month and I have called several times and she reported she mailed the check, which of course I have not received. There is no way it takes that long for a check to go across town. I had a friend who also adopted a puppy that was sick. I believe their suppliers are puppy mill people and they have far too many animals in a small place. Not to mention they were not honest about the reimbursement. Go to one of the rescue places there are plenty of puppies out there that need love. Do not purchase from Pet City in Aurora Town Center.

Avoid this place! Note Becca wrote a review about herself. Made it as far in as the Bunnies And guinea pigs. One bunny looked like it had an eye infection, a few more looked sick as well. Families were handling them like they were stuffed animals. Staff didn't seem to care. Children terrorizing the young animals. Please think about the health of these animal as your exotic vet bill will go up due to neglect. Animals are not to be thrown away like this animal mills does. Please help them by shutting this place down.

Terrible, careless staff. Not just puppy mill puppies, unhealthy rabbits and guinea pigs as well. Be prepared for expansive veterinary fees especially if you need an exotic vet for your rabbit or guinea pig. One rabbit had an infected eye and people were picking their kids up to reach into the enclosure and terrorize the animals but the staff doesn't care because so many come in to "play" at the animal's expense. Note the 5 star review raving about the sweet, smart employee named Becca written by Becca herself.

DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM THIS PET STORE UNLESS YOU ARE UP FOR A LOT OF HEARTBREAK.MY GRANDDAUGHTER GOT A PUPPY FROM THERE AND HE WASN'T EVEN 3 YEARS OLD WHEN WE HAD TO HAVE HIM PUT TO SLEEP.HE WAS VERY PRECIOUS TO US, COST A LOT OF MONEY TRYING TO FIX HIM,AND HE DIED IN THE END ANYWAY.THESE FRIGGIN PEOPLE GET THEIR PUPPYS FROM PUPPY MILLS AND THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE INBRED. THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.11111111111111111111111111111111

I am really upset about my experience today. I brought my cat in for a grooming appt and noticed when I got home that he had multiple bruises. His spine is littered with little purple dots and his right ear is black from bruising at the tip. His cut is uneven and his nails were trimmed way too short, I didn't even ask for nail trimming. I was surprised when I arrived that my normal groomer wasn't available and was told by Jen that she would be grooming my cat. Because we had only had good post experiences I thought everything would be ok. Now I have an injured cat with a poor cut. I noticed the ear bruise when I picked him up but thought it might be dirt or dye or something by mistake. Only when I got him home did I see all the bruises and the botched cut job. I've never had any problems grooming him there. I am very disappointed and will be looking for a new place to groom my Kitty.

Over the last 12 yrs I have bought several pets from this store, including dogs, cats, snakes , and birds. I have never had an issue with any of my pets purchased from this store. My latest puppy is the most amazing lil girl I got.. I love the fact that the store gives you the breeder name so you as the customer can do ur own investigating. I have bought my dogs all from different breeders they work with and still no issue. And the fact of the one year genenatic warranty is something I have never heard of. But the fact there willin to help out there customers if something was to go wrong is an A + in my book.. I have purchased all my pets from the same woman working there, her name is becca and she is very smart and sweet girl . And every time I go in there she is always friendly and she is always cleaning to keep pets clean, fed, and takin care of.. I say if ur in the market stopbin ask for becca and it will be a memory u wont forget...

My Buddy & Me Natural Pet Store
A pet store that is nonprofit that helps fight k9 cancer. All volunteers mostly ran by the family. If they do not have the product you are looking for they usually can order!
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
