I highly recommend Broadview kennels, I had an emergency come up last minute. I contacted a few boarding places closer to my house including Petsmart they all told me they need a day or two before boarding my animals. Broadview was the only one to accommodate me in my dire situation. They board dogs, cats , and pocket pets. They also do grooming and training. I could tell that they we’re well taken care of due to there few extra pounds and they smelt good. I am so happy to have a place I can trust with my family members!!!

Last summer, my husband and I were in a bad car accident on a three-lane highway. An unlicensed driver, traveling in the wrong direction, hit us head on. Our van received over $9000 worth of damage. My husband and I both sustained injuries -- among them, broken ribs, a fractured sternum, torn rotator cuff and herniated discs. As the van came to a stop, my husband and I both turned around in horror. My physically disabled daughter's service-dog-in-training , Beckett, was in the car with us. We unhooked Beckett's restraint. He jumped out of the car and began walking around. I was on the phone with our vet who had me run through a series of tests with him. He was completely uninjured! The emergency personnel were surprised. My daughter had done considerable research before purchasing a car restraint system for her service dog. She chose the Champion harness and Survivor Restraint system because of the glowing reviews and quality construction. I do not want to think about the potential consequences if Beckett had not had his harness and restraint on that day! We never travel with a dog in the car without the Champion harness and restraint system. I am forever grateful the USA K9 Outfitters for designing such an amazing product. Every dog is an important family member. A service dog is a lifeline. Thank you for keeping my daughter's lifeline safe from harm! I highly recommend your products to everyone who loves and wants to protect their dog!

being a former employee i think i should tell the fellow owners how there dogs are really treated. i have been debating if i should but i honestly believe it is the right thing to do. being a huge dog lover i cant have people who love there dogs as there kids think that what they see in there tour is the way things go. i got the job so excited i could finally work with the dogs well i started to notice very quickly things did not look right or fare to me. to start off i must say that if you are boarding or even daycare and you would like your dog to have a bed and a few toys maybe even a bone, he/she will not get that belonging. the staff would not want that item to be lost or damaged so they lie to the owner and tell them they got it. well they wait till that owner leaves and will tape all their belongings together and write the dogs name on them and will be put in the "cubbies". when the owner comes back to pick up there dog they will go un tape the belongings shake out a bed or blanket to make it look like it was used. and if you bring treats for your dog well at the end of the stay if there are treats left over or they completely FORGOT to give the dog treats they will throw them out to make you believe your dog got them. they will never give your dog a bone of any kind if you bring it either. most likely that will end up in the trash to. now if your dog is boarding and can have a blanket they will put un incredibly thin blanket down can only have one never two and they cut the larger blanket to smaller ones just so they have enough. or they will throw a towel down for them. another thing i can not stand is they just throw the blanket down they don't spread it out just toss it in there in a clump defiantly not comfortable for that dog if you ask me. and if they were to soil it its taken out and they do not get another one till that night. now that is about the kennels.theres much more...

Dropped off two totally healthy and happy dogs on Friday - picked up two inured, medicated and stressed dogs on Monday. Both of my dogs were apparently injured while in the play yard. You can view the play yard 24/7 and quickly realize that the number of dogs in there is too difficult to manage with just one attendant watching. I get it - dogs play and accidents can happen. What I can't fathom is that both dogs getting injured on two separate days with out a SINGLE attempt to notify me. Furthermore, both dogs were given veterinary care without my consent when a simple phone call would have been completely appropriate. At the time of pick up - the staff's handling of the issue was completely unacceptable with one staff member snickering / smiling at us. We asked for an incident report for both dog attacks which were not completed and would have to be emailed to us. Additionally, we paid for the top of the line 'penthouse' accommodations - I can only imagine what kind of care would have been given for the lesser classes of dog care boarding. Both dogs have required a vet follow up after pick up. So lets break it down: - No standardized escalation protocols for injuries - No communication in case of dog bites or other incidents - No approval from the pet owners for any medical care to be administer - The vacation report card made it sound like they had a blast - despite both of them getting bitten by another dog at the facility Club Pet DIA needs to enable some strict protocols and procedures to handle incidents to include proactive owner communication. But hey - don't take my word for it...check out this link: http://origin.9news.com/news/local/article/285572/222/No-charges-in-case-of-dog-that-slept-in-own-feces Pet owners and lovers stay clear!

I am really upset about my experience today. I brought my cat in for a grooming appt and noticed when I got home that he had multiple bruises. His spine is littered with little purple dots and his right ear is black from bruising at the tip. His cut is uneven and his nails were trimmed way too short, I didn't even ask for nail trimming. I was surprised when I arrived that my normal groomer wasn't available and was told by Jen that she would be grooming my cat. Because we had only had good post experiences I thought everything would be ok. Now I have an injured cat with a poor cut. I noticed the ear bruise when I picked him up but thought it might be dirt or dye or something by mistake. Only when I got him home did I see all the bruises and the botched cut job. I've never had any problems grooming him there. I am very disappointed and will be looking for a new place to groom my Kitty.

I just recently found U-Shampooch and am so happy with my dog's grooming. I had been taking my two poodle mixes to the same person for years, and they recently closed. I was apprehensive about finding a new place, as I'm kind of picky with their clips, but was so pleasantly surprised! They've never looked better! I wish I had found them years ago. Turns out they've been open for a long time, but I never knew about them. I highly recommend U-Shampooch for your dog's grooming.

We have been taking both of our hairy muts (Darby and Fiona) to Oona's for grooming for over two years now. On our initial visit, we sat with our groomer to talk about how we would like them to look and what we expected. She talked to us at length about what we would have to do on our part to keep them in shape and we are on a consistent schedule now. The girls there did a great job and have been consistent since then with the cut, nail trim and ear plucking. We are NEVER disappointed! We often get compliments on how nice our dogs look, especially on our walks at the park. \r \r Darby is an old guy (12 years) and we appreciate that we are able to drop him off and pick him just two or three hours later without having to worry about the chaos of other grooming shops, and other dogs bothering him. We would highly recommend Oona's to anyone!\r \r

Laura loves dogs and particularly terriers. She hand-pulls to keep those hard coats in perfect shape and she shapes to bring out the best features in your dog. She also has a calm and supportive demeanor. My Cairn loves her and I love the way he looks. Terrier grooming takes a special person and I consider myself lucky to have found Laura.

Rarely a wait (even on Saturday morning), nice staffers, reasonable pricing and no need to clean black lab fur off the cabinets/ceiling in my bathroom - that's what keeps me coming back here to wash my pooch. Oh, and the fact that's it walking distance from home doesn't hurt either.

Suzy has been an invaluable resource in working with our dog. He used to see a walk in the park as an opportunity to lunge at anything that moved. Walking was an exercise in keeping him away from anything he could lunge at, not fun. He now trots by my side and we love our walks. Working with Suzy has made all the difference in the world.
