We recently moved to Augusta, GA from Valdosta, GA. We have always bought furniture from Farmer's Furniture and after buying our first house we visited this store to purchase a new sofa. We recently sold our sectional sofa because it was too big for our new living room. We found one we really liked and make the purchase (6/26/15). I was told someone would contact me on the day it was to be delivered (7/27/15) to set up a time. I called the store that morning to find out what time the delivery truck usually runs. I was told their main truck comes around 11 AM and someone would contact me after they received their truck. I hadn't heard back so at 12:50 PM I called the store and was told their truck ran late and someone would be at my house around 2 PM. The delivery truck didn't make it to my house until after 4 PM that day. As the sofa was being brought in it snagged on the door jamb causing a tear in my new sofa. The delivery team made note of the incident and Cory took a photo with his phone. I took one as well for back up. I was told someone would contact me later that week to send Wayne out to stitch the tear. The week went on and when I hadn't heard back I contacted the store on Wednesday 8/5/15. The young girl who answered the phone did not have any idea about the situation and told me she would need to get my phone number and have someone call me back. Shortly after that Ken from the store warehouse called me and asked me to explain the situation. I told him it should be documented but explained again what was going on. He guaranteed that the replacement sofa had been ordered and would be on the truck that Friday 8/7/15 and someone would call me to set up the delivery time.Friday came and no phone call. I waited most of the morning to allow enough time for the main truck to arrive at the store. I called the store at 1:29 PM and Ken told me the truck had arrived and my sofa was there but they were not able to deliver it that day. I was told someone would call me the next day to set up a time. I expressed my frustration that each time I was to receive a phone call from the store no one would call and I would have to be the one to follow up. He apologized and said he would definitely call me the next day.Cory called me at 8:49 AM Saturday the 8th to be sure someone would be home and that they would be here around lunch time. I told him that was fine and we would be home. At 9:12 AM I received a phone call from Ken stating I was their first stop that morning and they would arrive within the hour. I told him that was even better! Unfortunately, they still came around lunch time and when asked why I was told I was the first stop they apologized and said there was a miscommunication. The sofas were swapped out without incident and they apologized again for the hassle and lack of communication with the store. This store has the worst customer service and I am sad that we could not have purchased this sofa from the Valdosta, GA location. The team in Valdosta, GA could run circles around the team in the Augusta, GA store. I understand things happen from time to time. However, when someone tells you that they will call to rectify the situation I expect to receive a phone call. This experience has been very frustrating to say the least and the people working in the store do not communicate or seem to know what is going on once the sale is complete. It seems their main focus is to sell furniture and once the customer leaves the store the relationship ends there. I will not buy another piece of furniture from this location. I will gladly wait four years when I graduate dental school and return home to buy from a store that knows what they are doing.

I ordered furniture from Ashley 6 months ago and just received my last piece of furniture delivered in October. I had to keep calling to schedule and reschedule. It was very frustrated for me to have to track what was going on with my furniture. Ashley furniture or customer service never called even once to see if I had received everything that I was paying for. I think this is very poor business for the customer. They were not concern once I had purchase the furniture. I will not buy or recommend anything else from Ashley Furniture.

I am an engineer and let Bo and his team build my home. He is quite knowledgeable and versed in the technical aspects of homebuilding. He could easily discuss with me in engineering terms and lay knowledge with my wife. He gave us generous allowances and we are so pleased that we choose him.

If you are ever in Augusta, GA, you must try this restaurant. I lived in the Caribbean for 10 years and this is the best west indies food I have EVER eaten. Seriously! I shared the chicken roti, curry chicken with white rice and cabbage and the plantains. Wonderful, delicious, amazing, delightful... I will dream about this food!

I went in with a few girls and we tried just about everything on the menu.The fried pork sandwich was very good although I would order it next time without the Asian BBQ sauce.Shrimp taco was delicious also. The burgers are chargrilled so they taste like they just came off of the pit. I love this new place.

"Do not go there"! They are in-compassionate individuals who do not care of anyone circumstances at all. They say that they are concerned with their customers needs than corporate needs//NOT TRUE..If you are a person like me who pays on time and miss one OR two payments and call them let them know your situation and say that you have a certain amount that you can pay until you have the full payment..they will not accept the payment and start the harassment phrase. Color Tyme has a policy where if they make a visit to your house they charge your account $10.00 on top of your past due amount, if you are at home or not. They are no different than the next rent to own company. Their general manager has a major nice/nasty attitude and does not truly try to work with you at all. I am literally all most finish paying my merchandise off and they are harassing me like I never pay at all. That is any rent to own scheme they see that you are almost finish paying off and they harass you to get the merchandise back when you miss a payment, so that they can come pick up your merchandise and resale it for double their profit. They need to harass the customers who have more than a month and beyond behind on their payments not the ones who pay and is close to paying off. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET MY BUSINESS , MY WORD OF MOUTH CAN SPREAD LIKE A VIRUS!! THE GENERAL MANAGERS' NAME IS YARELIS RIVERA, The Color-tyme on Windsor Spring Road

Wild Wing Cafe
I've been to other Wild Wing restaurants, and this one does not measure up! The wings were not tasty at all! And the celery was old and wilted. I won't return or recommend it to anyone.

Tips & Advices
Keep the following tips in mind:
  • Do not operate any electrical equipment while sitting or standing in water.
  • Don't overload extension cords or surge protectors.
  • Put caps on your electrical outlets if you have small children.
  • Call an electrician if you notice your sockets or switches are warm to the touch, discolored or if they make noise.
  • Keep electrical cords away from stoves, ovens and other sources of heat.
  • Do not use an appliance that has a frayed cord.
  • Do not staple extension cords into place or cover them with carpets or furniture.
  • When using extension cords, make sure to unwrap them before plugging them in.
  • Don't overuse extension cords. Have an electrician install extra outlets if you need a power source closer to you.
  • Only use light bulbs with the correct wattage for your lamps and light fixtures.
  • Contact a licensed electrician if you frequently blow fuses, since this can be a sign of an electrical wiring problem.
  • Have an electrician look at your fuse box to ensure you have the right size fuses and circuit breakers. The wrong size fuse or breaker can be a fire hazard.
  • If you have fault circuit interrupters installed in your electrical panel, make sure you test them at least once a month by turning them on and off.
