Sadly, Michael's is closed now. It was a fine restaurant for a long time, and had one of the best breakfasts you ever had. (Very reasonable, too.)

Of all the restaurants we have visited in the area, my wife and I think that the Chop House is one of the best (maybe even our favorite). The lunch menu is very reasonably priced although dinner could get a little expensive. The dimly lit setting creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're at a fancy "fine dining" place, but if you're wearing jeans and a t-shirt you'll still fit in at the Chop House. The food is amazing every time we go. Also, as picky as we are - we couldn't have asked for better service. Either whoever is training the servers there is doing a great job or the hiring manager needs a raise! If you're looking for a great place to eat out one evening, give the Chop House a try!
Best barbeque on this side of town. Excellent pork and chicken. The baked beans are awesome and that was some damn good coleslaw. The price is about what I have paid at other barbeque places. Though I didn't get anything from the bar, it looks to be very well stocked. The staff is really friendly and well trained. The only problem is parking but with as good as the food us, that can be overlooked. Highly recommend.
If you are ever in Augusta, GA, you must try this restaurant. I lived in the Caribbean for 10 years and this is the best west indies food I have EVER eaten. Seriously! I shared the chicken roti, curry chicken with white rice and cabbage and the plantains. Wonderful, delicious, amazing, delightful... I will dream about this food!
I went in with a few girls and we tried just about everything on the menu. The fried pork sandwich was very good although I would order it next time without the Asian BBQ sauce.Shrimp taco was delicious also. The burgers are chargrilled so they taste like they just came off of the pit. I love this new place.
Perry Foster just moved back to GA from MO. He brings the Kansas City style BBQ with him. This is a HUGE plus for Augusta transplants who don't care for the mustardy taste of Georgia BBQ. The Beef brisket is amazing... this place is legitimate!
Just discovered this restaurant. Having traveled in Turkey, this is fairly authentic Turkish cuisine. The food is very Flavorful, good music, and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended. We had giro, salad, plain yogurt and baklava.
Ask for Alison. Shes the best waitress I've had!!! The last time I went the waitress Amanda was not the nicest and added 15% gratuity when i was going to tip her 20% but I enjoyed my service with Alison!! Love the hair and bowties!!!
Perry Foster's has excellent BBQ, and you get more than you pay for every time you go in. He's been in the BBQ business for over 30 years, and for the money I will choose Perry Foster's every time.
I tried this place and wasn't disappointed in the food, although a bit pricey for what it is. Great display on the plate and a little too healthy (low salt) for me, but overall good quality.
I've been to other Wild Wing restaurants, and this one does not measure up! The wings were not tasty at all! And the celery was old and wilted. I won't return or recommend it to anyone.
