I went to Dragons Den for my first tattoo and it was awesome! David is a great artist! Because of the great experience I had with my tattoo, I decided to go there for a tragus piercing. I had a terrible experience with the piercer. She didn't tell me how to take care of my piercing, she got me to sign a paper and didn't give me a copy. After the piercing, she told me to wait a year to change it, but when I called another piercing place, they said 3-6 months. I was not even told what gauge my tragus was pierced at. The worst thing was the swelling that occurred after the piercing. For 2 months after, my tragus was 3 times the size it usually was and extremely painful because she pierced it with a ring. After I got it changed to a stud at a different tattoo shop, the swelling immediately went down. I love Dragon's Den for tattoos, but due to my personal experience, I would not recommend for piercings. It may just be my experience, but I had a terrible experience.
I was a tattoo virgin who went to Fine Lines to get my first ink done. From my vague description of what I wanted, tattoo artist Jillian Casey was able to work up a perfect design, and she talked me through the tattooing process and made me feel at ease. I was so happy with the finished result and the overall experience that I asked her to sketch up an expansion of the original design, and I'm excited to get that done. Immaculate shop, and a very, very fair value for the amount of talent and effort a dedicated artist like Jillian puts into her work. Highly recommended.
When I went to get my second tattoo, my son told me I had to go to A Dermagraphic Production, because they have the most sanitary shop, and the artists must go through classes in proper sanitary and airborne pathogen classes. Also, Christian, our favorite artist, (even our mom got her tatoo done there by him) does unbelieveable work, and has a degree from Savannah Fine Arts, in Graphic Design. Have sent numerous friends, family members, and even strangers there, and ALL have been very happy with the results!
I love going to Fine Lines, the atmosphere is very inviting and warm, and their shop is the cleanest I've seen. I was nervous about getting my first tattoo and me and my boyfriend went to about ten different shops before being told by a coworker about Fine Lines, and Jillian in particular. She made me feel right at home, took the idea I had for my first tattoo and ran with it, made it better than the original, and we've both been back multiple times for more by her. She has our business for life!!
