Utermark, Barbara J DMD
Dr Utermark has two specialties - Orthodontics and Children's Dentistry - and does braces and routine dental work for my children and we are very pleased with her care. She spends time with me to answer my questions and her staff is very caring too.

Wonderful dentist. Made my implant denture after my last dentist tried for nearly 2 years. I have had no problems. He is very nice and the staff is equally as nice. On my first visit I felt as though I had known them for years

My son has been going to this dentist for over 2 years now and he gets a cleaning every 6 months with x-rays and he went yesterday for cleaning. so today i took him to an orthodontist today and the orthodontist said on the X-ray he has 7 Impacted teeth that needs to be removed immediately I have stressed to Small Smiles For the Longest about his baby teeth.. They are not coming out properly and that he is complaining of teeth and gum problems so after leaving orthodontist i call small smiles get put on hold for 30 minutes. While on hold i drive over there go in no patient at desk i hangvthe phone up she never came back to the phone to help me i tell her whats wrong then she take the paper make me wait 40 minutes to make appt. Remind u the orthodontist said immediately. . well its only the beginning of October and she says they cant see him until January ... WTF and then i ask why have they not seen this problem in there xrays???? They told me only the orthodontist can see it...??!!:?:$&€@ huh?? Im not stupid, not a doctor but a blind man can see this problem on the xray.. Omg long story short i left there within 30 minutes my son was having these 7 teeth pulled from his new dentist... Small smiles lost 4 patients behind this. They truly SUCK!!!! -mad mother

The employees here at this place of business are so unprofessional. They are more concerned about what went on the night b4 in their personal lives than tending to their clients. They r quick to reschedule your appointment if u r 2mins late but when you're on time it takes them more than 20mins to even call u to the back. Smh they really need to do better

Ngoh, Emmanuel DMD
Dr Ngoh has performed both my root canals over the last few years. He offers a calm environment. I wore headphones and listened to music of my choice to drown out noise. Easy painless procedure. He is the only DR I would let perform any procedure in my mouth.

Not impressed. The office staff outright lied about what was covered. Going as far as to say something was covered when it was not. When confronted, Alisa offered excuses and blamed the patient for not asking the correct office administrator. The patient was very clear in asking if there would be any out of pocket charges for a cleaning and Donella was very clear that there would be no charges. One would think that with their many years of experience, they would be able to accurately and honestly answer such a common question. During a procedure, Dr. Lee was very rude to his assistant Sharon. On one occasion, enough so, that it was uncomfortable being in the room. On a positive note, Brittany performed a very thorough cleaning and was very pleasant.Overall, the general lack of integrity and accountability in the office staff can only be a direct reflection of the dentist himself. With so many choices for a dentist in this area, this practice cannot be recommended.

I like Dr Jeffcoat. She repaid a cavity another detist had filled. It is easy to get an appointment and rates are reasonable.

Shores, Tanya L, DMD
I was extremely pleased with the service I received from the Shores Dental Center. The Dentist and staff were very professional in everything they did. The examination process was thorough and much more detailed than other Dentist I have used. Dr. Shores will put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. The procedures were performed with care and no pain. For anyone needing dental services I would highly recommend the Shores Dental Center.

I was more than pleased with the service I was given. Not only was the service great and the staff was wonderful, but Dr. Shores came up personally to greet me. My front tooth was broken and I was very happy with the outcome when I left. I've had multiple friends and fellow staff members refer me to this one doctor, and I do not regret it one bit. I have found my new dentist.
Tips & Advices
An increasing number of children are getting tooth whitening treatments and veneers. However, dental experts advise against childhood cosmetic procedures except in the event of an emergency.
Prospective patients should choose a dentist who is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry or the American Dental Association. These organizations offer their members the latest in dental research, procedures, and training. It’s also a good idea to request photos of the dentist's prior work to see the quality.
A gum lift is a quick procedure where a dentist removes a bit of gum tissue to give a person a less gummy smile. The gum line is cut and reshaped, and a laser is used to seal blood vessels. A gum lift is also known as a gingivectomy. On the opposite end, a gingivoplasty adds gum tissue to the gum line to make teeth look smaller or treat gum recession.
Dental implants are metal frames that are surgically attached to the jaw bone. An orthodontist then attaches artificial teeth to the frame to replace any that are missing. They are one of the most expensive cosmetic procedures, but they're the most suitable option for people with several missing teeth adjacent to one another. Dental implants are also used to stabilize dentures.
Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain shaped to cover a person's tooth. They're a popular choice for people who want to make slight alterations to their smile, such as altering the size, shape, or color of one or more teeth. To apply veneers, a cosmetic orthodontist shaves a thin layer of enamel off the patient's tooth. Then, he or she applies resin to the veneer and seals it to the tooth with a curing light. Veneers preserve more of the natural tooth than crowns and are more stain-resistant than bonding.
