BEWARE!!HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! BEWARE!! I was greeted by an extremely rude employee, assumingly the owner. I mentioned having a 9:30 appointment and was surprised when she acted like she didn't know who we were and as if we were late. When I finally received a call to pick her up, I entered the "salon" to see my dog in a cage with not even a water bowl!!! Upon examination of my dog, it appears they didn't even bathe her just sloppily cut her hair. Further inspection of the haircut (supposed to be a short puppy cut with a top knot and length around the face and tail) my dog had random long patches all over her body which had to be scissor cut in front of me. The groomer didn't clean her ears or trim the inner ear hair, she didn't trim her bottom hair or even clean her eyes. It wasn't as if I picked my dog up early, this was the condition of the dog after they'd called and said she was "done and ready for pickup". DO NOT GO TO THIS GROOMER

I waited 4 hours for a cut for my two Yorkies. Then when she gave them to me they face was cut uneven, owner and only person that can groom the dogs said the move to much! The owner/ groomer was at a family function and should have had the person in front to say they was not taking anyone till after 12 noon. I sat from 8:30 to around 12:30 for two small dogs to get a bath and cut. I paid $80 for two dogs

Mint Julep Boutique
These ladies are fantastic! I made an order and the package was stolen off my front porch. The Mint Julep ladies worked with me to replace the items. They responded quickly to all my emails and were very helpful. This is the second time I've witnessed their world class customer service. I love the clothes, but knowing how much they care about their customers makes me come back again and again.

Signed up and received a $10 off coupon. Looked around and found a couple dresses, added them to the cart and coupon code wouldn't work. I emailed asking if I was doing something wrong or if the sale items I had weren't good under that code. (In which no where states in the email it comes in) Received a reply saying it wasn't, was going to go through w/ my purchase and one of the dresses in my cart was back to full price coincidentally. I've since then emailed back asking if I can have that price changed back to no reply. If this is the type of customer service you have I won't be bothering even looking at your merchandise. I don't appreciate being jerked around.

Ambiance Spalon
This spa in my opinion is the best in Auburn. The people are friendly and they offer a lot of services. Manon and the girls are professional and they take special care of you on your visit. I highly recommend Ambiance Spalon.

Worst spa experience or lack there of that I have ever had!I made an appointment for a brazilian wax Friday morning because they had a great web special going for $39, upon which I specifically asked did they do guys and was it ok. The owner said not a problem and let the receptionist make the appointment for Tuesday of the following week. On Monday I get a call around noon and informed they do not do guys and that she was "sorry"....Why did she make the appointment in the first place? Now I tried to call around Auburn but no one has any appointments open for the the next day on such short notice. The point is I counted on the appointment because Im a figure model and now Im left having to travel out of town possible to get waxed. If your going to advertise you might want to say no guys or girls only on your ad so in the future this doesnt happen!! And how about reimbursing me for the extra money I had to pay someone else for waxing because I relied on your business.
Tips & Advices
Many people fear that their pet will be injured at the groomer, but incidents of serious injury are infrequent. For minor injuries , it is appropriate the groomer pay the vet bill, and can usually be worked out between groomer and owner. For moderate to severe injuries, you can attempt to activate groomer’s liability insurance to cover medical expenses. However, be aware that most groomer contracts stipulate that the business does not assume responsibility.
Staff at groomers know that there is inherent risk when handling animals, and they are familiar with being snapped at or bitten. However, it is not a normal occurrence or something you should ignore. Many people choose to cover medical expenses or pay extra--at minimum, apologize and get the dog into behavior classes. It is a given that  you should sedate or muzzle the animal for all future grooming sessions.
It is always recommended to make an appointment to get your pet groomed. While some groomers, especially in the larger pet stores, can accommodate with short notice, popular neighborhood groomers are often booked out two weeks out or longer on weekends.
If your pet has sensitive skin, let the groomer know when you set the appointment. But be aware, all dogs have sensitive skin by human standards--their skin is much thinner. Therefore, you should be on the lookout for signs of sensitivity, and reduce it through regular grooming with gentle, natural shampoo and conditioner. Oatmeal shampoo is a favorite. Daily brushouts and omega oil supplements are recommended for every day at-home care.
For various reasons including insurance clauses and pet-owner relationship dynamics and behaviors, groomers prefer owners don’t stay with their pets while being groomed.
