Vernard Plumbing
If you want to do business with a good honest Plumber who is very personable and professional. I had a slab leak in my home and was referred to Vernard by my Pastor and his wife. I called Vernard and we set-up a time for him to come out for an estimate. Vernard was at my residence very punctual. He told me which leak detector to call (Reg Dominy) National Leak Detector came out and detected that the leak was inside my home and flagged the very spot. Vernard then came out to do the estimate and the price was very reasonable compared to others that had been in my home and gave estimates. Vernard scheduled the appointment to repair the slab leak for 10 a.m. on Thursday however he was at my home about 40 minutes early to prep. Vernard completed the repair within 3 hours and this included putting the concrete back and the clean-up. Vernard recorded everything he did on his IPad and sent it to me. If you ever need this type of repair done or any other type of Plumbing needs then Vernard Plumbing is your Choice!!!!!

J Squared Plumbing Co Inc
J Squared came out to repair a cracked PVC fitting from my main water shut off valve back in September 2015. This month, we had a huge water bill and called J Squared to find out what was going on. Broderick Jackson arrived and It turned out that all the work J Squared previously performed was great, but that the new replacement fitting had failed. Mr. Jackson didn't want the same problem to happen again so he removed all the PVC fittings and pipe and sweated in new copper lines and worked with me on the final price and only charged me for the service fee and materials as a result of the prior repair. Water is back on and most importantly, no more leaks. Thanks so much to J Squared and Mr. Jackson for their great work, promptness and reasonableness. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber in the Atlanta area. Thanks!

A Plumber 4 Less
I had a clogged kitchen sink that caused a back up in my dishwasher that flooded my kitchen floor on of course a Friday night. Plumbing for Less was fast to respond, empathetic, and efficient. The plumber that came was professional and made me feel comfortable with his abilities and the cost. It was a very difficult and complicated clog that took 2 guys 7 hours during night and weekend times, so I assumed the price would be very expensive. The final price was only $150! My clog was fixed, the kitchen was cleaned up, the plumbers were professional, and I didn't have to pay much. What more can I ask for?! I will definitely call them again for any other plumbing issues I have.

Atlantis Plumbing
The line from our water meter to our house broke and we called Atlantis Plumbing on a recommendation from a neighbor. Brian came to our house about 90 minutes after we called Atlantis on Saturday morning to give us options. We were put on the schedule for the following Tuesday and Brian made sure we a had temporary water connection. Brian and James showed up early Tuesday morning and they had the pipe replaced by 2PM that afternoon. They were able to replace the entire pipe with minimal digging and no disruption to the sidewalk or any landscaping. Excellent Job.

Fulton Services
Had spent $650 trying to get basement toilet to flush. Plumber had been here twice and finally admitted defeat. I called Fulton that morning and T.J. was here at noon. He ran camera through the line and found the problem. He discovered a part needing to be removed. He copied down the manufacturer and said he would take care of trying to find replacement part. He was very careful and didn't mind me hanging around asking questions. I appreciate the prompt professional service I have routinely received from Fulton.

Ayers J W Plumbing
Awesome, professional service, especially if you have a historic home in the Intown neighborhoods. These guys were able to locate old sewer lines not on the city's official maps and clear a complicated blockage on a joint tie-in line serving multiple properties. They have copies of 120-yr-old sewer maps, which proved quite useful in our case. I call them for all my plumbing issues in the house now, but this is the go-to firm if you're having issues with ancient sewer lines.

Morningside Plumbing Services
I have used Morningside Plumbing for several years. They are professional, courteous and punctual. They also have a sense of urgency. When I awoke to a basement full of steamy water and suspected the hot water heater they arrived quickly with all the equipment necessary to not just replace the unit but also help clean up the mess. Not always the cheapest but I think one of the best!

Atlantis Plumbing
We have used AP for two of our homes and their level of service and pricing is amazing. It is always difficult to find good service and companies that stand behind their work. Tim, Kris and Josh service our basement - they filled in an area around a pipe that was leaking from outside and they did an awesome job.

Atlantis Plumbing
I had a pipe leaking sewage into the basement. The service and work was great! Mike and James came to the house, cut through the concrete to find the old galvanized pipe from 1954 was busted. They replaced it, sealed everything up and I've had no problems since! I'll call them again to fix the basement bathroom.

Marty The Plumber
We called Marty on a busy Monday morning to replace our broken water heater that died over a holiday weekend and he arrived that same day with a replacement and we had hot water by Monday evening. He's a local, intown, small business owner. We would definitely hire Marty again.
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
