Atlanta Martial Arts Academy
Master Marcal and Sensei Tray have a gift when it comes to instructing their students. My son is 4 years old and prior to starting karate at AMAA, he was a HANDFUL. AMAA staff has taken all of that energy that my son had and put it to good use. I saw a change in him almost immediately. He listens better, he takes instruction better, and he has calmed down quite a bit. I will not go to another karate school. As long as AMAA is standing, we will be members!! They teach valuable lessons that your kids will keep with them for life!! The true definition of martial arts!!

Chien Hong School of Kung Fu
Great place to learn kungfu. The coach is very dedicated in teaching kungfu art as well as a cultural aspect behind it. Kids also get a real life lessons. Highly recommended.

Karate For Kids
Now this is what a Martial Arts school is supposed to be. Great school, as soon as I walked in I noticed the students working hard , having fun, and learning. This school covers both the physical and mental side of the arts. Professional staff and up front with their pricing. Hands down the best I have found.

The Dojo American Karate Centers
If you are a minority, beware. The owner William Gaffney is a closet racist. We were members for a year. We were one of the few black families in the Dojo. Out of the blue, the owner decided to share with me that he thinks the first black president should be impeached. Upon confronting him with my wife, he proceeded to tell us he knows what it means to be black and that my wife and I don't. He told my wife, you are not even black so what do you care and proceeded to question our commitment to our own race over his commitment to our race. After that painfully ignorant conversation where he proceeded to insult my wife and my cultures, we agreed to separate from the Dojo. However, Mr. Gaffney's girlfriend / instructor proceeded to charge our account for three more months until we had to cancel our bank card to avoid the debits. Don't be fooled by this place. All they care about is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY and there is zero diversity.

The Dojo American Karate Centers
Both my kids are taking Karate here. It is great. There confidence has increased, keeps them active and they are learning useful skills. The teachers are tough but the kids love it. The only added cost besides the monthly cost is once they achieve a new belt. I would recommend this dojo.

Master Pius Martial Arts
DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS WITH THIS COMPANY!I signed my son up for after school care with this company around 2008/2009. Master Pius was a very professional man, and I really liked the after school care my son was provided with martial arts. He had me sign a contract for payments. After the school year was over, I advised Master Pius we would not be continuing any further with the program. We were at an understanding that care would no longer be needed. Here is is 6 years later, and I started receiving harassing phone calls from a company that says I owe Master Pius over $1000 for a contract I signed with him!! I thought the best thing to do was contact him directly and clarify the whole incident. Surely, there was some sort of clerical error, right?? Before he even asked my name, he started becoming very rude with me and declaring that martial arts is not something you can just quit, it is a lifetime discipline... and that you can not start and stop when you are ready. I was very perplexed by his immediate response, as if he had encountered this dispute before! After a moment of back and forth and explaining who I was, he said he would look into it and give me a call back....before he even asked my phone number!Of course, he did nothing, the 3rd party company continued to harass me and now this junk is on my credit report. I've never experienced such a rude and dishonest company. Save yourself the trauma, years later! Don't sign any contracts with this company!

Just a moment...
