MidCity Cafe is an extraordinary spot amid the day to do work (free WiFi), observe a few games, or meet with a companion/customer. They have different TVs more often than not playing some sort of games and the staff is cordial and open to changing the channels when inquired.
The sustenance is not regular bar nourishment, MidCity offers an assortment of soups, servings of mixed greens, and sandwiches and the quality is the thing that you would expect of some other kind of bar, reasonable.
They have an extremely decent open air yard with outside warmers for those crisp evenings. It is likewise puppy benevolent and they have open air outlets so you could work outside and charge your gadgets.
Around evening time the bar has an incredible domain. Continually playing awesome music running from a wide range of classifications and for the electronic music fan they get numerous DJs amid the weekends so watch out for their occasions. The group here is dependably exceptionally social, benevolent, and entirely fun! You'll frequently discover individuals moving inside, chuckling at the bar, or having a smoke and associating outside.
The staff here are well disposed, snappy, and aware. They've generally treated me well and I've generally seen them be extremely quiet.
General I would very prescribe this spot!
I love it! The music is ecletic and interesting, adding to the laid-back ambiance and chill decor. The martini menu is delicious (try the expresso martini - like none other)!! The waitstaff treats everyone like an old friend. There is a welcome feeling for everyone who walks through the door or joins the relaxing patio whether you are a seasoned veteran or a fresh newcomer!
I was in with my family for Brunch last Sunday. The best that Atlanta as to offer. Try the Pork Belly, Shrimp & Grits with poached egg what a treat. Can't wait to be back. Excellent
I really enjoy going to Midcity Cafe on Friday/Saturday evenings. There is always a large, and diverse crowd of people socializing. Even though I don't live in the nearby apartments the place still has a 'local bar' feel (a lot of the customers seem to know each other/staff) but I can go and still be anonymous enough to talk about whatever with my friends. A good mix. The techno music they've got going inside adds to the whole 'trendy' vibe. The drinks aren't the best. My friend said his rose was rather bland for the price. The coffee I have had there wasn't fantastic....other than that, it's nice and close to Tech Square (hooray for walking!) and is open late enough unlike a lot of cafe bars!
There are not many places like Midcity Cafe in Atlanta. It's like your local bar except that it's not a dive. Many of the hanger-outers are residents of Midcity Lofts, upstairs, but pretty much everyone gets treated like family if you come more than once. It's the perfect place to frontload before walking over to Halo. On weekends, when Halo, gets too crowded, its a perfect escape. Because Midcity is so small, it's the best place I have found in Atlanta to meet people (guys or girls) in a non-meat-market atmosphere. You just have to talk to people because they are standing right next to you. Decent food and a great drink selection served by some of the cutest (male and female) bartenders in town, make it a fun place to go alone or with friends. Perfect place for a casual business lunch or a fun night out with friends.
