Heritage Property Management Services, Inc.
Rated them "Not the worst" because I'm sure there are others out there who are worse.Homeowner for nearly 3 years. Very unresponsive to questions. Although some employees are great (Kenea on the phone), they do not respond to questions about our subdivision in even close to a timely fashion; if they respond at all.We may drop them as our management agent because we (my neighbors and I) are SO dissatisfied with their customer service. As an example, they dinged me for non-compliance for leaving trash cans out when I don't even have any trash cans and then wanted me to dispute the issue with my Board of Directors. I question how well trained their "inspectors" are.

Assurance America Insurance Company
So my policy was canceled about a month ago or so and I went in earlier this month to reinstate it. $200 and some odd dollars later I'm back in business. So about 2 weeks after being reinstated I sit down to organize a few bills and I go online to see the next date for my insurance payment (which should not be until next month sometime) and I see an outstanding balance of $20 that needs to be paid immediately before another cancellation 😲 yeah, and unexpected I attempted to pay with my bank card it was pending until it was declined for insufficient funds at the time. Insurance cancelled 😔 and that was on the 27th when it cancelled. So I now receive the cancellation letter in the mail, I call today (10/31/2017)to see if I could make the $20 payment and I was told the I have to start a whole new policy at the cost of $200 + not dollars!!!!!!!!

Lit Property Services
This is the worst rental property company I have ever dealt with. If you are considering renting a property that they manage, run for the hills. You have been warned.

I've been a resident of 730 Frederica for 14 months now, in my second lease and have to say that this is my first apartment owned by a management company and I actually signed the lease before even seeing the apartment. There have been zero issues, little crime (you have to be smart), and nothing but friendly reminders via email for any issues concerning the building. Jessica and Thomas have been outstanding in helping me with anything I need. I read a lot of reviews about rent increases, scamming on leases, etc. My initial lease did have some typos and mistakes, but let's be honest people, that is why they send you the lease for review. If you can afford $1200+ a month for an apartment, then you should be able to have a lawyer review a lease for you as it's your money and your home. I was sent a renewal request via email, 60 days before my lease was up, and yes there is an increase in rent should you decide to go month to month, or opt out of the 12 month lease, but for another year it was the same amount, with no hidden agenda. There is a deadline to submit, so you have to print, sign, and deliver to office. Shortly thereafter, I was sent a thank you email for my renewal by Jessica personally stating that BF was glad I was staying. I think that people fail to realize that they are a office of not that many people from what I see. So it's not like there are a 100 people there fielding calls and emails 24/7. If I have a issue, my emails are always promptly returned, but we all have the address of the office, most of us live across the street, so just go there and speak to someone. I'm in the restaurant business and I hate reading aggressive/ill-spirited reviews about my business, and especially about a business that has been nothing but welcoming and helpful to me. And for all the haters bashing apartments, get another job and buy a home.

Above Atlanta
Delayed communications regarding advice or feedback. Unable to accurately price property or offer advice about how to increase buyer interest. Uses a very non-aggressive approach for trying to sell properties and not responsive to client requests. Do not recommend this agent

Allstate Insurance Agent: Drew Niess
Helped me save a ton of money and identified gaps in my coverage so when I filed the only claim I did in the last 4 years I was covered for water and the wood swelling I experienced. This guy is the best!

Do not rent from these people! They are rude incompetent, unorganized and disrespectful. Today I was yelled at cursed at and hung up on by some miserable woman with a foreign accent at ext.105 (the only ext they have) I asked her to calm down and she hung up on me. Smh....it is very mom and pop, don't be fooled by the 1800 #, they don't even have a real office or listed address.. Her life must suck pretty bad to treat someone like that. Also they have ALL of these properties listed and they are fake listings, or "already leased". That's what happens when you try to find housed on Craigslist.
Tips & Advices
Insurance agents will often try to "upsell" on various extra products that may be useful for certain people, but are generally excessive for the average consumer. Stick with basic plans that cover as much as you need without any additional costs. For example, if the annual cost of your auto insurance is 10 percent or more of the total value of your car, drop all but the most essential coverage. This is especially applicable if the car you drive is older and could be replaced with savings. Otherwise, you are paying for insurance that will never actually benefit you in the event of a serious crash.
Yes. Even after you've chosen a plan and started paying into it, consider looking around again when it comes time to renew the policy. Consider using an independent agent when searching for a new insurance policy. While traditional agents can still find a good deal, independent agents can choose from a variety of providers and tailor your coverage to your specific needs. The Internet has also made comparison shopping easy. Potential customers can often get free quotes online very quickly.
Send your insurer a claim form for each beneficiary in the plan, as well as a certified copy of the policyholder's death certificate. With the proper information, life insurance claims are generally straightforward. Problems may arise if the policyholder has died within two years of opening the policy. In this case, an attorney may be needed to settle the claim.
In the case of damage, take pictures of the affected area as soon as any safety or health emergencies are resolved. Take note of what happened and all the relevant circumstances and report to your insurer as soon as possible. If any of your possessions were damaged, use an inventory of your important assets and make note of this in the claim. Once an adjuster has made their own report, review it for accuracy.
If you're involved in an accident, you need to call the police right away and have them document the situation. You can file a claim upon obtaining the police report. It's also a good idea, if possible, to take your own notes to record: what happened before the accident, the date and time, traffic signs in the area and road conditions. Also get the other driver's name, address, license plate number, and insurance information. Even photos taken with a cell phone camera can help the claims process. Once you have this documentation, call your insurance company right away.
