Holt Automotive
My oil changes are always completed here. I'm usually in and out and that is important because I do not enjoy car maintenance.

High Tech Speed Auto Care
High tech speed auto careI had bad experience with this place, I went there for Air condition problem, They said it might be the compressor by itself, or the compressor and other parts, so they changed the compressor for $800 dollars but doesn't works, and they said I need to change other parts from the air condition system for another $1200, But I didn't accept the offer, I took my car to another place where they found that I got defected new compressor, It has oil leaking in it , and they changed it for me for around $450 and it is working great from more than one month. They gave me bad part and charged me more than other places.

Ed's Mobile Auto Service
Found this guy on Yelp and he had good reviews...he replied to a quote request. Ed was very gracious to reply and come to my house to provide diagnostic within a day of contact. He scheduled repair for next day and then called to request additional time for the appointment citing "he'd stayed up late the night before". Then 30 minutes to the expiration of the service window, he texted stating he had an emergency and needed to reschedule. I texted that I appreciated the notification but my time is valuable, too. We rescheduled for the next day and he no showed, no called and blocked me without any further apology or explanation. Terrible customer service! You can be left hanging. BEWARE. In reply to my Yelp review (above), he defamed my character, left racial slurs and said "maybe he should've said he didn't want the job", amongst a whole litany of other things. The manner in which he handled this situation is completely unprofessional, immature and sad. Don't do business with this man. One day he's cool and the other he's not so much...Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the headache and anguish!

Landmark FIAT of Atlanta
After 4 months of owning my 3rd fiat my check engine light came on. This at times is normal. In my last one it was on for 3 days then went away and never came back. About 2 and a half weeks ago it came on, and Is currently still on. I scheduled an appointment Monday July 24th at 3:15 PM for that following Thursday at 8:15 AM. Since my vehicle is still under warranty. I let them know i would be there Wednesday afternoon to drop off the vehicle since I worked at 5:30 am Thursday. I was told that was fine and I would get a loaner. I arrived only to be told that I wasn't put down, and after driving 2 hours to get there. There was nothing they could do. The only suggestion given were that I leave my vehicle and find a way home. The only reason I purchased my vehicle with them is because the dealership close to me are terrible. After today I no longer consider myself a repeating customer, and driving a vehicle that is not very conman and attracts a great deal of attention I am always asked my car and where I purchased it. I have sent them many people, but after todays experience that ends. I will not only never purchase a vehicle from them, I will never recommend this location.

Apollon Auto Service #1
FIVE STARS *****Best Car Repair shop in AtlantaI live in Athens GA and was recommended Apollon Auto Repair by a friend. It was an hour's drive each way but it was EXCEPTIONALLY worth it!!Apollon is the BEST car repair shop I've ever dealt with. Honest, reliable and the best prices in Atlanta. After four separate shops (including the dealer) tried to scam me with estimates for unnecessary or overpriced work to replace my a/c unit; Apollon REALLY delivered. Trustworthy, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, reliable and all for a VERY reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend these guys to anyone with car problems. You can't do any better!

D.W. Campbell Tire & Service
I began using this GOODYEAR in October of 2016. My regular Goodyear got sold and I didn't like the service from the new people. I purchased a 2003 Jaguar S Type in October and discovered this particular Goodyear and Brandon Hardy the manager. You could not ask for more phenomenal service and even on the first day I went I was treated like a customer that have been there for 20 years. Hands down the most phenomenal place you can get your car repaired.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
