Rodriguez Trees
I TOTALLY agree that Rodriguez Trees provides exceptional tree service!!! I had many estimates, but their service proved to be the best to ME... FIRST, because I was told, by the email photos I'd sent to ALL the OTHER companies (which I won't name, but they're very popular), quoted me prices from $750 UP TO $2500 just to remove the fallen tree that was dead, rotten, and had already broken up on impact (taking advantage of all the hapless residents in the Atlanta area? I wonder). SECOND, they ALL gave me the usual vague "We'll be there between 9am-6pm in the next 2-3 days" bull hockey JUST TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. Mr. Rodriguez told me he would be at my house that afternoon at 2 pm AND HE WAS THERE AT 2 PM. Not only that, but he ALSO offered to to remove another dead tree that had not yet fallen. (He even gave me a "Senior Discount"). We made an appointment for him to come at 9 am the next day, AND HE WAS THERE EXACTLY AT NINE AM!!!! I thought he should have been paid a WHOLE LOT MORE for having to wade into waist-high water to remove part of the tree, but REFUSED me offering him more than his estimate. And, MY TOTAL COST WAS SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS UNDER ALL OTHER ESTIMATES, AND WITH SUPERIOR SERVICE!!!This sweet, kind gentleman is WONDERFUL: he's efficient, does great work, and is PROMPT, HARD-WORKING, FAIR, HONEST, and DEFINITELY DESERVES YOUR BUSINESS!!!! I recommend his company UNCONDITIONALLY!-- Doris W.

Boutte Tree Inc
This team was absolutely amazing! From the sales consultant to the climbing team, everyone - every single person - showed how much they truly cared about my goals (house protection, more sun, etc) as they did about the health of the trees! A few things I wanted done they recommended against, in order to keep the trees strong and healthy. They weren't just going to hack up the tree and hope it worked. Decades of climbing and cutting made me very confident in their recommendations! And it looks gorgeous. The consult was painless, no sales pressure or anything like that, which was a nice change... The wait time to have the trees taken down was about standard from the other companies I met. The price was several hundred below a very well known competitor and I'm just thrilled at the overall service. There wasn't a stray branch left on the property, the crew was courteous and just a real pleasure to work with. Very well done to the team at Boutte Tree. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Odd Job The Tree Specialist Inc
Never Finished the JobEverything was going along just fine with Odd Job. They started in and made great progress getting the three trees under control and off of the house. So I went inside, to not just watch them the whole time they were there, and that was a big mistake. Because the next thing I knew, when I came back out to see how things were going, they were GONE, with several limbs left to cut. I've never heard of someone leaving a job site without first asking if everything looked OK. All attempts to get them to finish the last few limbs have been refused unless I agreed to pay them more.

Mad Beavers Tree Services
While I was out of town a large pine tree fell across our driveway but on the way down damaged a number of other trees. I take care of my elderly mother so there was no option of getting back home and having that tree still blocking my driveway. Recommend by our next door neighbor who had sent me photos of the damage, I called MAD BEAVERS. Bo was on site in 30 minutes, gave me a fair price and sent me photos of the progress of the work. I got home the following day to a very pleasant finish. I recommend Bo and his crew and will call upon him for any future work I might have. James Caldwell

Southland Tree Service
I hired Southland again for the removal of hazardous trees in my backyard, and I am so glad I did. Lee came out and gave me a fair and reasonable quote, as well as came the day of service to check in. I was very nervous about one of the trees near the house, but he assured me it was no trouble--and it wasn't. The day of service, a gentleman named Carl led an outstanding team and they did a fantastic job. They showed up early, worked extremely hard, left the areas clean, and were very professional. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.

Teran Tree Experts Inc
I had several large trees (80 ft pine, 50 ft poplar, etc.) removed. My yard is heavily landscaped and I asked Fernando Teran to be careful to protect all existing plants, paths and shrubs. They did an outstanding job!!! Everything was done exactly as we had discussed. None of the landscaping was touched and all debris was removed, the drive way was blown clean and you would not be able to tell that tree truck loads of chips were just hauled off. I would recommend Teran Tree Experts to anyone, and I will use them again in the future.

Boutte Tree Inc
Definitely tree specialists at Boutte Tree, located in the Westside and servicing the entire Atlanta area. We had them clear large tree branches from around our roof, which their work was done promptly and their people were very professional. They also gave us good advice about the tree they were cutting back and explained the danger of the overall health of the tree. Great to know!

After spending several days trying to find a good tree service for a removal of a fallen tree off my house I was lucky enough to find Southland. I called first thing Monday morning and by 1:00 the tree was off my house, remainder cut down and area cleaned up! Lee was extremely pleasant and the price in my time of need was perfect! nothing but good reviews!

Evergreen Tree Services
Initially I was pleased. However, after a few days we noticed that several branches had been broken by their work and now we see the dead leaves/branches. I spoke to Gordon twice via phone and he told me 2 weeks back to back they had more work in our area and he would come by to see. Still waiting! Cleanup could have been better too.

Boutte Tree Inc
Recently bought a home in ATL and needed our trees checked and cared for. Called Boutte and received excellent service from start to finish. Did exactly what I asked and explained what they were doing. Left the yard, driveway and street cleaner than before they arrived.
Tips & Advices
Trees take years to grow and can add value to a property, and a lightning strike can destroy a tree in a instant. Many arborists offer lightning protection systems that can protect trees from being damaged by lightning strikes. These systems use copper cables to ensure that in a lightning strike, the lightning is harmlessly diverted to the soil.
Certain conditions can cause soil to become hard and compacted, and this can make it difficult for grass and trees to access the nutrition they need to thrive. With soil aeration, the soil is perforated with tiny holes, loosening the compaction and making it easier for roots to connect with the air, water, and vital nutrients they require.
Arborists can tell which species of trees are most likely to thrive in your location based on soil conditions and local climate. Also, trees need to be planted at the proper depth to thrive, and an arborist will provide guidance in this area.
Tree trimming can be quite dangerous for the person doing it, and the U.S Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries lists it as one of the most hazardous professions in the nation. Falling branches can cause injury, and electrocution can occur if tree pruning takes place in close proximity to power lines. For these reasons, tree pruning is best handled by a skilled professional.
Tree pruning can have a huge aesthetic impact, and, if artfully done, it can greatly improve a tree's appearance. Tree pruning can also boost the health of your landscape. By thinning a tree's canopy with pruning, the tree and the landscape beneath it will be able to access more air and sunlight, resulting in improved vitality.
