YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Night Clubs in Athens, GA
1.40 Watt Club
285 W Washington St
I have romanticized the 40 Watt so completely that I am really not able to say anything objectively bad about it. The sound is usually good, and the shows I have seen there changed my world and shaped my youth. I love the staff for never having kicked me out, not even once, not even if I truly, truly deserved it for whatever drunken back- stage- when- I- wasn?t -supposed- to- be- shenanigans I was up to. The venue itself is a little bit dreamy and whimsical with all the twinkly lights, and the drinks are strong, cheap and served by really really nice people. The 40 Watt is iconic, and I hope it?s around forever.

Worst bar in Athens. Watch your credit card, I know several people that were victims of identity theft after opening a tab here.

Caledonia Lounge has stepped up its game as of late. It seems that the typical (and often embellished) hyper-cynical hipster-employee guff has been traded for a general friendliness and pleasant demeanor both at the door and bar. Monotony on the schedule has also been shaken by the inclusion of diverse bands both touring and local - spiked with the random secret show of bands who have outgrown Caledonia's capacity. Keep your ear to the ground in order not to miss the big Reptar dance party or Modern Skirts double set, complete with beer in hand - of course.

This is one of our favorite places to visit in Athens!!! Very nice staff and nice ambiance. More mature crowd with great music/bands! The appetizers are awesome!!!! Dinners are a little pricey, but sophisticated and well plated....We enjoy simply having a few appetizers and sitting outside on the nights when entertainment is avail.

The Atmosphere is one of the if not the best in Athens but sometimes it seems this bar has a hard time deciding on what it wants to be. Music could be handled better little less rap more chill music to match the scenery. All that aside great service friendly employees, The cleanest bar I have been in. Plus the owner is almost always there and if you have meet him once he will always seem to remember you. Add to your bar hoppin schedule for a slight gear change .

Hidden in plain sight, Blue Sky Bar is a brown-liquor lover’s paradise. Stepping up semi-clandestine steps next to the Broad Street Taco Stand entrance, or up stairs behind Walkers Coffee and Pub, one will enter a modestly-sized wooden bar stocked with an impressive selection of bourbon, whiskey, and scotch. Fridges full of boutique high-gravity beers are certainly not collecting dust given that the clientele is a mix between discerning townies and tolerable Greek-types and the bar staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure you check this joint out on the bustling weekends and enjoy the killer view overlooking Broad Street and North campus.

If you appreciate craft beer, you must spend some time sampling the Trappeze Pub's extensive list of beers from around the world. For you non-beer drinkers, there is also cider, wine and cocktails. The location is perfect for people watching during Athfest or in the evening. Get a table outside and order some small plates or a cheese plate. And don't forget to try some of the local Athens beers, too!We had some pork sliders and some of their sweet potato fries with raspberry ketchup. (I have to figure out how to make that at home - really fun.) The small plates are great for snacking among friends or family. They were also cool that we had our kids with us. We had an amazing server too who made sure the kids got refills on their drinks.
