Poor Boy Used Cars
my wife and i came on a Saturday and the sign said open but no one was around. I gave the man a call and discussed which car i was interested in. we never discussed a price or anything but all he asked about was weather or not i had cash on me. he was very short on the phone and very rude.he said he would get dressed and come over and hung up on me. that was only after i told him i had cash. the gentleman apparently lives right next door and came out of his house cigarette in mouth. and walked right past us, no greeting not a hello or good morning or thanks for stopping by to look at my cars. he came back around and handed me the key and walked away. he didnt stop to offer any insight on the car i was interested in not one word. he literally showed zero interest in helping us.So i looked at it for a few minutes and by this time he was back. i asked a few questions and asked about the price. when i told him my offer he scoffed. rolled his eyes and said "i shoulda asked what money you had before you wasted my fucking time" as he walked away i said thank you for showing me the car and helping us. which he did neither of. he continued cussing as he was walking away towards the building. now i understand that someones offer may not be to your liking but as a professional you can say no thanks. cussing and throwing a fit left both my fiance and i in total shock. This was one of the most unpleasant transactions i have ever been apart of. period. i would steer clear of this place.

I had a great experience at Leonard's Auto Mart. I purchased a 4Runner and it is a great vehicle. The customer service was exceptional and I left happy. The family atmosphere hit home with me and I highly recommend this place of business!!!

Asheville Honda Acura Service
I brought in my 2009 Honda CRV because I was hearing a weird humming noise. They took at least 30 minutes analyzing the problem, then told me there was a minor rust issue (I'm from the north) that wasn't anything I needed to worry about. When I asked for my bill, I was told that there was no charge. This is a business you can trust!

Leonard's Auto Mart
I have been doing business with Leonards Auto Mart for 30+ years and have always had a great experience. My family has purchased four quality vehicles from them at affordable prices. Two of our purchases were not available on their lot; however, they went to the extra effort of finding them for us. I would highly recommend Leoanards Auto Mart to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle at an affordable price.A customer for life. Bill Harris

Leonard's Auto Mart
As a longtime customer of Leonard’s Auto Mart I finally decided to write a review of what I consider to be the best auto dealership in WNC. Over the past 7 years I have purchased a total of 5 vehicles for personal use and for business use from Leonard’s. On each transaction, my experience as a buyer was exceptional. Leonard’s always catered my purchase to my individual needs and my business needs. As a family owned business, they have shown the flexibility I need in my purchases. I have always felt they knew me as an individual and that making me happy as a buyer was important to them. Buying a used car can so often be an unpleasant event but Leonard’s makes it easy. The cars I have purchased from them have been quality vehicles and the deals I have made with them have all been of good value. If you are looking for a vehicle make the drive to Smokey Park Highway and check out Leonard’s Auto Mart. They are not at all your typical used car dealership.

Burnout
They won't warranty their machines that they sell. I bought 2, four wheelers and took one back for missing and I only had the machine for 2 and a half hours and I asked them what they do if the machine don't work properly after I just get it home and they said they don't give any warranty. So My opinion is if you aren't selling something you can't stand by. Then ya don't need to be selling it. So my friends if ya want to save time and money don't even waste your time dealing with these people. Very unprofessional, from my experience they probably won't be in business long. Its really a joke. Save yourself some heart ache and go some where else. I would have been better off flushing the money I spent there down the toilet. Never ever again will I do business there. And no one that I know will.

NAPA Auto Parts - Parts Partners of Asheville
I am completely clueless when it comes to finding car batteries and the guys here were so polite and helped me get a new battery for my car and even replaced it for me right in the parking lot! Definitely will be coming back here if I need anything else for my car!
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
