I have shopped with Musician's Workshop for nearly 20 years and have my guitar serviced in their shop. They have always been excellent. I recently purchased a Taylor guitar after several visits to their shop. The friendly staff was always very knowledgeable and helpful. They knew the guitars inside and out and I am very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend them.
I agree with this women. I have lived here in Asheville all my life and love to go to guitar shops and play the new guitars. and Musician's workshop has some of the best guitars in Asheville but for some reason they are very rude and make you feel like your going to run out the door with one of their guitars. they hover over you and make you feel as if your being judged on your playing skills. but I find this to be the norm for around here. when dunham's music closed we lost the best place to shop for a guitar they would let you play every guitar in the store with no problem and they got a lot of my money also. MW will never see a dime from me sad I love ibanez.
My husband and I visited musician's workshop last summer. Although the store was not busy at all, it was like pulling teeth to get an associate away from the register. My husband wanted to play a guitar, which is standard in music stores. They grudgingly agreed, then had someone stand RIGHT BESIDE him while he played. It was not a good experience.
